L'Hermite - Microbrasserie / Pub

I went for a good beer at the bar a few weeks ago and I ate very well and the service was perfect. On the other hand, I became aware that an employee, probably the manager, was reproaching the barmaid who served me for certain things. She could have done it in private and not in front of all the clients, a big lack of professionalism in my opinion.

I was there for my party with friends and Mégane took really good care of us. We loved our experience.

Last night around 6 a.m., a superior yelled at a waitress. It was very uncomfortable. The whole first floor heard and we all looked at each other. Everyone felt sorry for the waitress...it was inappropriate and disrespectful. Even another waitress went to tell him to tone it down. I don’t really know who the superior is, a manager I imagine. She seems stupid and I wouldn't want to have her as a "boss" or an employee.

I took a Dubbel which was excellent. Homemade cheese sticks and homemade pogos are truly amazing!!!! It's worth the detour if you're not from the area.

We have always appreciated the service and delicious, affordable meals. The new manager is very kind and professional. L’Hermite is our #1 restaurant of choice and even more so with this staff.

We had a lovely evening with excellent service near the terrace downstairs. However, when our server finished his shift, we had almost no service from the backup. The person at the bar was more on his phone than pouring beers. Despite everything, we had a pleasant time!

Great brasserie, it's tastefully decorated. The staff is cool and we ate really well! The beer is super good with bold pairings. It's always a bit disappointing though to be charged 3 dollars extra for the choice of vegetarian steak but at least there's an option ;)
