Fourmi at the Fournil
First off I'd like to say the guy serving was nice, and the cinnamon bun was exquisite. BUT there was a DEAD ANT on top of the bun. Please try and do a better job of quality/pest control.
I warned him I had a big presence on Google Reviews too haha

There simply are no cinnamon buns this good anywhere. I will cry every day if this bakery closes. The challah bread is also the fluffiest.
The croissant was really good, coffee good, delicious focaccia, and amazing apple square.

Check your receipt! Swindling. They tried to swindle me and bill me more then id ordered. When confronted, they didnt care and knew exactly what they surcharged me for.

Montreal hidden gem This bakery has been around for so many years, anything I buy I know will be delicious! Serving to company, I always get compliments. Their banana cream pie is out of this world. Biscuits cakes, breads, soups, anything this family makes is incredibly delicious and memorable.

Served in English even though I am French speaking and want to be served in our provincial language....deplorable.
Croissant good but a little dry, brioche not very good in my opinion since too much syrup which ends up in "gum", apple cake seemed to me to be a little undercooked but the taste was good.

Sub par sanitary conditions at this place. I don’t recommend as per many other reviews, stale and rotten food. Tried more than once and it was consistent. I also find it poorly thought out when owners use their businesses account to take public political stances, makes it clear who you welcome and don’t welcome in your shop, and that was reflected in the poor customer service received.

Challah was amazing, though expensive. Apple cake was unexciting and unbelievably expensive... definitely not worth it. I'd go back for the challah, though.

Was a loyal customer since victoria av location. Something was off with the pastry I ate. After a few bites I noticed mold. The woman in charge didn't seem to care. She just gave me my money back without saying a word. I feel disgusted by the pastry and the experience. You just lost me as a customer
I have been going to Le Fournil for years, and they have always showed extreme consistency in their products, something I find extremely difficult to come across since COVID. I have done my birthday cake here for the last 6 years!!! I have a severe Peanut and Tree Nut allergy and there are few bakeries in the city I trust. It has meant SO MUCH to me to be able to find something that I am not incredibly anxious about. Love this place <3. Also the two female owners are super sweet:)
