But if you’re going to sell a pre-prepared, refrigerated smoked salmon bagel for over $18 in Montreal (no sides!), it better be delicious. This one wasn’t. Plenty of better options around town.

My first trip to Cafe Bazin. Having a mobility problem I was very pleased that there was a ramp and on leaving a staff member to help with the door, as we were inside. The staff members were all helpful and very courteous and made me feel welcome. The highlight was the Tout Choco dessert. I have never eaten anything quite so light, but satisfying, and for a chocolate lover it was one of the most amazing desserts I’ve ever eaten. I will definitely return and bring friends and...
