Although the service was good: the eggs were overcooked (solid inside) and I question whether the hollandaise was packaged; and they charge a fair bit for bad coffee. Classification: One & Done but I wouldn’t say stay away.

Reviews have to be AI. Food is bland not fresh and costly
The sandwich I ordered was very subpar. I can make much better sandwiches at home for a fraction of the cost. Portions are kinda small, too. Not a bad place, but at least per my experience, neither your palette nor appetite will be fulfilled.

Chez Nick has been feeding Westmount since 1920, and now it’s feeding my soul (and stomach). This chicken pita might just have more history than my last relationship. 🥙🍟 #OldSchoolDelicious #

Very good. Century-old family restaurant. Prices have remained reasonable despite inflation. Neighborhood restaurant in an English-speaking corner of the island. Customers' coffee cups are often refilled, which is much appreciated.

An outstanding restaurant with a massive menu that is a fixture in the community. It is welcoming, the portions are generous and made of quality ingredients for very reasonable prices. It is staffed with lovely people who seem genuinely to like their jobs and clearly take pride in their work. Would absolutely go back on future trips to Montreal.

My grandparents used to take me and my mom out to Chez Nick's all the time. My grandfather is no longer with us, but since we were in town, we stopped by for nostalgia's sake.
The decor hasn't changed much and it doesn't have to; it's timeless. The staff were just as friendly as I remember. And the food--eggs, potatoes, and smoked meat--was really delicious. When the waitstaff learned how nostalgic the restaurant is in our family, the offered to take a photo. Thanks for a great meal!
