My wife and I ate there last Saturday on the last night of our Montreal vacation. I had ribeye and she had lobster. The food was amazing! My steak was the best I've had in years. The service was great, so was the atmosphere.

Closed for renovations, no posts on social media to let customers know. We came from another neighborhood specifically for this restaurant, very disappointing.

I was honestly incredibly hesitant to book at Guilt & Ivy due to the reviews and based on the fact that I booked a table for my boyfriends birthday. I can now say that they did not disappoint. Jessica had took her time helping me with the booking and the planning of our night out. She was very nice, resourceful and professional. The ambiance of the restaurant was calm just how we like it. Our server was very attentive, constantly made sure everything was good and our waters were always full. For the food, the calamari as an appetizer was good, the lemon/garlic bred was not our favorite but not bad. We ordered the Ivy Platter and added an extra Tomahawk steak for 100$ (worth the add-on) with a side of green beans. The platter was worth the price honestly everything on there was really good. Lobster was seasoned perfectly just like the shrimp. The lamb and the steaks were cooked nicely. The green beans were good but nothing special. Truffle fries were tasty. We ended up spending almost 500$ for 2 people so it was quite expensive but I knew what we were getting into. Overall, our experience was a good one and I'm glad I gave this restaurant a chance. We really enjoyed our time and we'll definitively be back.

The food that we received was very good however they were out of many things on their menu including all salads, some of their mains, many of the wine on their list, no beer, no coffee, missing some basic liquors and only had one desert choice. Price for value received was extremely high. We would not recommend unfortunately. Restaurant was not inviting a strange layout to get to dining room.

The girls (servers were lovely!!!!). However, the food were served room temperature and we waited for 1 1/2 for our food to arrive. They gave us free shots/dessert to make up for it. Would not recommend. Also, the manager (probably owner) was drinking in the table with his own company while everything was chaotic in the restaurant

Maybe it was F1 weekend, but it seemed like this just didn’t quite live up to the hype. Nice room, service was pretty attentive, but the food let them down a bit. They were out of quite a few items. My steak and lobster was supposed to be a 10oz filet mignon and lobster tail. They were out of the filet… ok. They said they would sub a ribeye. Fine by me. But I still only got what looked to be a 10oz portion of ribeye for the SAME PRICE!?!? Those cuts are no where near the same price. I was expecting the full ribeye… not a small portion.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. So many things went wrong! We got there and there was only one waitress (she was amazing) doing her best but service was extremely slow. Finally another man showed up and started to help her. We ordered the seafood platter with him and was never told that there were no crab legs left. It’s only when we realized we were missing them and we told him that he said they were out of them and he forgot to pass on the message to the female server (but we ordered with him). So they were just gonna not say anything and charge us the full price? Anyways, when we mentioned it they offered us a dessert to make up for it but at this point we were so disappointed we just wanted to leave as there was also missing the garlic butter, knives and the pince for the lobster. We looked at the menu and since the crab legs were worth 40$ we asked them to remove 40$ off the bill and it was like it was the end of the world to give us a discount. It categorizes itself as a nice restaurant but the ceiling is falling. The mirror is all dirty and there is literally dust hanging from everywhere. Worst experience I’ve had!

We just had a great Oyster feast experience at Guilt & Ivy. Being a Westmount resident, it’s a shame I didn’t know about this place. We were a group of six celebrating an event: upon arrival, a warm welcome greeting and a great table was assigned to us, it was evident that the place was busy but everything was taken care of in a timely manner. We had lots of Empress and old fashion cocktails and they were fabulous. The Oyster happy hour was very handy and the salmon tartar was great too. The ambiance and service were great, so I would definitely recommend this place (I did read the reviews before going there and honestly our experience was outstanding. So bring your positive attitude and oyster cravings to this restaurant and you’ll have a blast!

We were a group of 6 and almost everyone who ordered had to modify their meal as the kitchen was out of many ingredients....no blue cheese, different cuts of steak substituted, and a few dishes completely unavailable. That said, the substitutes offered were generous and tasty, so they did a good job of adapting. Value was a little all over the place. My salad had some yellowed arugula and was missing the aforementioned blue cheese (which I had to point out), but I think they made up for it with a massive portion of mussels. I don't think I've ever rcv'd that many mussels for under $30. Overall everyone enjoyed their food. Ambiance was lovely, except they did turn the lights lower before our food arrived, which we had to joke was because they didn't want us to inspect too closely to see what else was missing. :)

Sat at the bar with a friend and met the bartender Jessica. She was an incredible mixologist who was super friendly and was not shy in keeping the conversation flowing. She also took our order and I saw her waiting on other tables besides bartending. I have not seen that level of service and command from anyone since covid started! The seafood tower was amazing! Lobster, shrimp, mussels, crab.....outstanding!

Went out for a friend’s birthday (party of 11). Restaurant was not that busy — 3 tables were occupied but we were the largest group. I waited 1hr30 for truffle fries which had barely any truffle on them. Menu is not up to date as there was no chimichurri available yet it was displayed on the menu, then to top everything off, we were charged gratuity on top of the tax instead of being charged gratuity on the food. Might seem silly but everything adds up. Also, we waited 1hr to pay our bill. Laughable experience nonetheless.
