Glad I tried this institution, but was left a bit underwhelmed by the food. We tried the cacio e pepe brussels sprouts and the steak and aligots. Both were fine, but nothing special. Would have liked a bit more texture in both dishes personally.
I’d only go back for a drink and dessert. The bread pudding is the best I’ve had in Montreal. The Manhattan with the homemade cherries was great too.

Best bartender ever I was traveling alone through Montreal and was recommended this place. I sat at the bar and had one of the best dinners of my life. I’m only 29 so my palette may not be all there yet but this dinner was off the hook. Mac n cheese was divine to put it simply. Filet mignon went crazy with the red wine sauce. Do yourself a favor and get the cheesy whipped potatoes with the steak. Down a bottle of cab throughout the meal. Better than any other restaurant in Montreal.

We sat outside which was nice. The service was pretty good. The food just didn't live up to the price. Tiny wings very overcooked. Jerky wings? Rigatoni with meatballs were uninspired. I would not go back.

Server Anthony was very professional and knowledgeable. The food was something a child could do better...overcooked rigatoni with a watery tomato "sauce", tagliatelle mushroom had 1 mushroom in it and no taste. Those frozen chicken wings were embarrassing. The roasted chicken was the only dish that was a success and very good. Nonetheless the server and the ambience compensated a big part.

Not value for money, I think we paid about €5 per tagliatelle string. It was really scandalously small in terms of amount of food. Then you would think that this would be compensated with atmosphere if you saw the average rating of this place, but half of the time we were there we had a spotlight on our face from the lighting that was suddenly turned on, which was not very good either. was nice. Shame.

The size of the dishes were very small in comparison to the price. When we made an complaint about the dishes being small, the waiter simply ignored this and continued to give us the bill.
