We had crab risotto, cauliflower, winter salad , crab toast and roasted chicken. All were good, risotto was the best among these.So food is good, atmosphere is great but the prices were too high l m afraid.

Ate here for NYE and the food was phenomenal! Service was excellent too, and the atmosphere was, as expected, fun a vibrant. The stand-out dishes for our party were the steak, key lime pie and bread pudding. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Montreal area.

Nice place with good food although it is a bit overpriced. I had the duck breast and it was cooked perfectly but it was very salty. There is a full bar with a very nice drink selection. The service was good and the waitress was friendly.
Tavern on the Square was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, the staff was exceptionally courteous, with a very warm dining ambiance. Looking forward to returning soon.

First I want to say that dessert was astonishing ! But main dish was disappointing. Duck was tough, I couldn’t cut it with a knife and also portion were small. I think this place a bit overpriced but probably because of the nice atmosphere and good service.
