When you have staff in front of customers, it is a minimum to speak a little French. Just the basics. Considering that the basics of English are Latin, it shouldn't be too complicated.

Why wouldn't you want to pay 1.5-2x for the same stuff you can get anywhere else? And don't get me started on that awful food counter. Run of the mill items made with low quality ingredients and cheap oils. Not fitting of what's supposed to be one of the more high end stores in town.

Price too high

Fantastic service and appearances, although prices and selection are a bit high and lacking respectively. Great place to find a few hidden gems that you may not find in most larger grocery stores.

I passed by your window last night and it’s so beautiful looking that I came in for the first time this morning and ordered a long espresso with steamed cream from a woman staff that was new there. She was lovely. But then I observed a small man exerting ridiculous power and being upset by this coffee order and then embarrassed the female staff infront of me and another customer by chastising her about not making anything that isn’t on the menu. He was rude and seemed really fixed on bossing her around and making her feel small. Then he began speaking French to me to which I had to cut in and inform him that I’m anglophone. He was even more rude and told me they would make it today but not to order that again as it’s not on the menu. I understand his boundary of wanting to stick to the menu of cappuccinos and lattes, but the way he exhibited his power over this new staff was unprofessional and honestly just made him look like he was miserable and mean and unnecessarily flustered over a coffee recipe. 🤦🏻‍♀️ There’s many ways he could have gotten his message across. But when I see a man being rude to female staff, it turns me right off the entire business. Everyone else in the place was so kind and happy but this man with way too much power soured me from returning. Which is a shame because I adore artisan grocers like this one.

Hello excuse me. I want to make a complaint: today early in the morning I felt Discrimination. As usual I came today, September 27th, to buy my coffee early in the morning and I was the first customer in the cafeteria at 8am, and the guy refused to give me the service. First I asked for a hot chocolate, he said they don't have chocolate, then I said ok give me a Capucciono and then he told me No. I will not give you Capuccino, not other kind just americano, because I have now 3 customers waiting in line and then we are not enough workers I will give you americano if you want; I said ok. Then, the next customer asked for coffee 'late' and the othe one for capucciono and he gaves them the service like nothing happen. And then I told him: Can I ask you now for my Capuccino? and then again he told me No, you will gonna wait. And then he gave me the capuccino when he wanted. So I felt discrimination in the way he gave me the service. He denied me the service two times and just for me not the other customers which were asking for the same. Its not the first time I feel discrimination in the way this guy treates me. I hope you can do something because its not nice be trated this way. Thanks. If you have cameras around you can see how everything happened.

i don't get it. Why is fresh produce 5x more expensive
when iga and Adonis is two blocks away. Same produce. You have to be a fool to pay and shame on this store

old lady in cooked mete serving sandwiches without using gloves, however, none of them use gloves, there are 3 or 4 managers in black uniforms still not under control.

Local food store, they have almost everything, the quality is there (meat, fish, catered meals, pastries). Certainly not the cheapest grocery store, but it has no competition in the immediate environment.

Very difficult to be served in French.
I spoke to the manager about the situation: he told me we were in Westmount. I know because I have lived there for over 20 years.
I decided to boycott this establishment and I am doing very well.
Question of respect!

Wide variety of foods. Top quality of meats, cheeses, deli--fantastic. Great bakery, coffee, even plants and flowers!!! Thank you.

If the 5 seasons was a 5 star I would dethrone it by one...although the manager seemed to be working with a shovel and a broom in his hands today...finally!
