To be honest I've been to Vago several times, and I was quite disappointed with the service tonight, portion sizes which was very unfortunate, also they changed the menu and removed the Linguini Pescatorie and changed the menu completely.

super duper experience. loved it - the staff are warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the wine was wonderful. Like Nello's used to feel on Madison Avenue, but it's Vago on Greene... or like being at your really good friend's house who throws really great parties. the vibe was just right. from out of town, so GFs on Monday then back on Wednesday with my son and his friends;-)

Came for lunch with a work colleague. We had a lovely table by the window. The server was prompt and courteous. I had soup and a chopped salad, which was quite tasty and inventive. I thought it was a little expensive for lunch but I appreciated the quiet atmosphere. I would happily come back.
