Little Rhody Lobster & Seafood Restaurant

So, I'm visiting my husband in Rhode Island and he is excited to take me to this restaurant. I look it up on Google and it does not say it's closed. We drive out there to see an empty parking lot.... they are closed. Please update hours of operation on your Google account! I won't try to visit again.

We travel for a living and found this gem of a place. Food was great and the service was beyond fantastic! Such a festive place to spend your time right off the highway. As it happens we had a really really good time, Rodney and the barkeep went above and beyond. Thank you!!

This place is amazing! New staff is great! Super clean and extremely professional. The Chef is great at what he does and puts together some of the TRIKIEST combinations known to man, using the freshest ingredients. Check out the clam chowder it is phenomenal!

We had the clam chowdah and clam fritters they were excellent. Stuffies were fantastic so was the fried calamari. Service was also fantastic bartender was very friendly.

We had dinner at Little Rhody Seafood last evening. I had the lobster and chowder special which included the best clam chowder I've ever had. The lobster was fresh and the butter was hot. The facility was very clean, the staff was professional, and dressed appropriately as well.We stayed a little longer than we planned, to listen to the live music, a very nice touch for an earlier dinner.

The good was spot on and staff was incredible!! Will definitely come again!!!

We went last night! New menu, but still had all the great stuff items from the last one, plus new specials! It was all delicious. Oysters Rockefeller and Zuppa di Mussels to start, then D had a big beautiful portion of Fish & Chips, Alex had Lobster Macaroni and I had seafood scampi with lobster, shrimp & scallops! It was sooooo good!!! We left nothing on our plates.

Great seafood ! The Lobster Rolls are Delicous and served with their fresh cut French Fries and cold slaw! Calamari is fresh and nice portion including the tentacles (my favorite part). Fish and chips is done in a light batter, 2 filets on a heaping portion of French fries. My 2 personal favorites are the Marinated steak tips with a side of sautéed lobster meat or the Baked Stuffed Shrimp with a side of lobster meat!. The staff aims to please and the prices aren't bad either.

Vegetarian options: They offer salads and usually have 2 other fresh vegetables besides potatoes and the chefs are very accommodating.

Kid-friendliness: Have high chairs, crayons and putt putt golf and coin operated toys.

Parking: Parking lot can easily accommodate 100 vehicles

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or ramps very easy to access doors.

Dietary restrictions: Most items can be plain or without added sodium. Many can baked instead of fried.

We were on a 2 day getaway, and we went there for the first time in 2021. It was great. Had raw oysters, a lobster boil, just yummy. We were looking forward to coming back in 2022. When we did, we were told that there are no longer raw oysters. And we did really want some. We talked about it all year. We were ready to just go somewhere else. But our waitress was super nice, and did totally understand. I believe her name was Haley. We did stay. And I am glad we did. We both had the lobster dinner. YUM! Fries were cooked perfectly, and hot. Coleslaw was super refreshing. And the bowl of N.E clam chowder was really good! Creamy, sweet, and just well done. I did read some negative reviews before coming. Some people complained of waiting long for dinner when it was dead. we actually got our dinner within 10-12 minutes. Some complaints of cold food.. Nope, none here. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks Haley! Oh, and it WOULD be cool to eat some oysters next year.. :-)

Absolutely loved this place! Great food and drinks, the seafood was so fresh!! They have great indoor and outdoor dining. Was a perfect place after our beach day. Will definitely be going back!

The food is of reasonable quality, yet is not very flavourful and seasoned. The lobster is the clear choice of what to get and what the place is popular for, and it is clear that the location should be attended with family. There is a small mini golf course and even a true sized top golf course. There are many coin based car-rides for small (2-10yr) kids to enjoy. There is even an ice cream window at the front of the establishment open around dinnertime. Good for what it is, but it's a few times a year kinda place.

Parking: Reasonable parking lot, can get full on crowded nights.

Wheelchair accessibility: All one floor, very accessable.

Had lobster and chowder with the wife. Food was excellent. Weather was good. Service was great. All around great day. Awesome place!

They used to offer a Lobster Tail roll which was Fantastic!!!! No longer! ? That set them apart. ? The drink selection is sad. I asked for bottled water & they didn't have any!?!?!? Who doesn't have bottled water. ? IF you are paying market & want the BEST!?!?! I say go to Abbott's in Noank. At least you get a New England view.

My husband and I ate their on Friday August 19, 2022. Fried clams were very mooshy and the chowder was so gritty as if someone made it with beach sand. Within minutes literally of eating it, like 10 to 15, stomaches started gurgling and had to run for the bathroom. After our bodies rejected every last bit, you started to feel immediately better. So either they did not properly handle it or are selling, for a large price, rotten seafood. Do not bother trying to call to let them know. They do not answer the phone. Very disappointing. We have eaten there several times and the food has always been good. It will be a long time before eating there again. Was not fun.

Had a great meal and drinks. Seafood was so fresh! Loved the atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor dining. Highly reccommend and will certainly be going back.
