Outside another dozen or more tables and a bar. So no need to worry about space. But as the season kicks in make a reservation. Prices are inexpensive for the shore. Food is excellent. Drinks prices reasonable. Good beer choices and mixed drinks.”

“Wonderful dinner. Taylor, our server, was very welcoming and attentive. The 70s Old Fashioned was delicious. Very unctous and cheesy French Onion soup broth. I ordered the mussels and the Chile tomato broth was phenomenal. Hints of cumin, coriander, and all spice! The sour dough bread was dough and crusty. I ordered a side of French fries which were of steakhouse quality. This meal was one of the best that I've had in the Stonington/Mystic/Westerly area.”

We went in to the shop for a tasting and were blown away with how delicious all the different flavors were. We had a hard time narrowing it down to only four flavors. The gelato cart was adorable and a huge hit to all our guests.”

“We visit Westerly from the West Coast every few months and always pop into Stick + Fin. The coffee is great, if you get a latte it isn't too milky like it is at a lot of other places, americanos are on point. The staff is super friendly. Also the toasts are yum. And usually there is some reggae blasting. Also, we are vegan and it is nice to have a place in Westerly with options. The food is very affordable and if reviewed, I have no doubt that Michelin would give it a “Bib Gourmand” badge. This place is well known for their pizza and for a good reason- pizza is made inside a historic brick column with many ingredients being local.All minors in my family were given delicious cookies upon entry. Not one employee there was even slightly bitter and half the employees were smiling even without guests around. Unique brewery made beer available on tap. Smoking guidelines are unclear and unenforced. Live music occurs twice a week. If you come here consider joining the “mug club” it is a subscription where you have a designated chilled mug that is easy to get to and you can get free beers!Food just as good as environment and all food is made after order.Summary: get your butt up and come here”

It was our first trip there for our anniversary referred to by word of mouth and we were not disappointed!!!! “Enjoyed an outstanding dining experience at Ella's.We started with foie gras club and fried hen of the woods mushroom appetizers. The flavors were delicious. The foie gras club had a great crunch with tomato jam, bacon and seared foie gras.It was out of this world. The fried hen mushrooms with ricotta and goat cheese were a fungi experience.Our server, Chris, was on the mark all night, her care in service was over the top but not overbearing. Her enthusiasm for this chef and restaurant was incredible.We chose the duck duo, a duck leg confit and a seared duck breast, while my partner had the grilled halibut special with asparagus tips, peas, and the fluffiest spinach gnocchis. The piece de resistance was chunks of lobster included with this meal. The flavors in both were heavenly. The thyme as jus with the duck was simply delish. The duck confit was perfectly prepared and a joy to eat, crunch by crunch. The seared duck breast cooked med-rare had a great crispness cap and still cooked to the right temp and married well with the sauce. Even the mashed potatoes elevated their taste to go with the duo dish. We somehow had room to have a dessert made in house, a cake with almond flour, candied pistachios, raspberries and vanilla gelato. Well made expresso and mochachino added to the fine dessert offering. This evening's meal will be something that I will always remember. Ella's put out a stunning dining experience. My thanks to the chef-owner Jeanie Roland and her incredible staff for a remarkable and memorable dining experience. I look forward to visiting again, and trying some other items from their varied menu.”

“You get what you pay for and at Buttonwood you're getting very fresh ice cream that is locally made along with some tremendous flavors and you're paying a premium price for it. Cheap ice cream comes with a cheap price and you can find that in the freezer section of your local grocery store. The staff are always kind and they do their best to keep the lines moving, which can get very long in the summer months. They offer sundaes as well as waffle cones and traditional cones and bowls. The atmosphere is fantastic because you're outside, enjoying the beautiful views of their fields and very often watching the cows walk around eating the grass while you enjoy ice cream with your family or friends.”

“There are so many flavors! My brother and I were on day 4 of a 5-day backpacking trip when we stopped here. Really excellent outdoor seating area, with shade from trees and some nice-looking large rocks nearby. This place had basically every type of ice cream you could want. We also refilled our water bottles from a hose attached to the outside of the place. Great stop, exceeded expectations!”

Pretty gettable layout, but some unexpected challenges can bite you (looking at you, #7 and #8). The rock-hard greens in the summer are venomous for those of us who like to play airborne golf.
