“THIS restaurant! Just WOW! Just when you think Stonington, Pawcatuck, and Mystic don’t need another delicious eatery…. Here comes Reds with mind-blowing food! Everything is made in-house, including their sausage, biscuits, and jam and nothing disappoints! Come here, enjoy it and experience it yourself!”
“This was our time eating at the Tin Peddler and we were very impressed. For our dinner date, the food, the service and the atmosphere were all great. The noise level was a bit too high, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, so I guess that's good. Definitely will be back.”
“Parking across street large lot. Chairs tables front of restaurant before you walk in. Bathroom to right as you walk in. Hostess to left. Get a seat closer to the bar area. Views are magical. Outside another dozen or more tables and a bar. So no need to worry about space. But as the season kicks in make a reservation. Prices are inexpensive for the shore. Food is excellent. Drinks prices reasonable. Good beer choices and mixed drinks.”
“Wonderful dinner. Taylor, our server, was very welcoming and attentive. The 70s Old Fashioned was delicious. Very unctous and cheesy French Onion soup broth. I ordered the mussels and the Chile tomato broth was phenomenal. Hints of cumin, coriander, and all spice! The sour dough bread was dough and crusty. I ordered a side of French fries which were of steakhouse quality. This meal was one of the best that I've had in the Stonington/Mystic/Westerly area.”
“Great food. Great coffee. Great Atmosphere. It's Saturday morning and busy but the lone moves fast and you still have a cozy atmosphere without feeling crowded.Love it!! ❤️??”
“One of our favorite restaurants. Have been here upwards of 20 times or more and have never had a dish or cocktail we haven’t enjoyed. The best burger in town for sure and their sourdough is out of this world delicious. The menu changes often with a few staples so you’re never bored and can always try something new. Very fresh, always.Extremely talented team!”
“We hired Pompelmo Gelato to cater dessert for our wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. Melanie was kind, professional, and excellent at communication. We went in to the shop for a tasting and were blown away with how delicious all the different flavors were. We had a hard time narrowing it down to only four flavors. The gelato cart was adorable and a huge hit to all our guests.”
“We visit Westerly from the West Coast every few months and always pop into Stick + Fin. The coffee is great, if you get a latte it isn't too milky like it is at a lot of other places, americanos are on point. The staff is super friendly. Also the toasts are yum. And usually there is some reggae blasting. Also, we are vegan and it is nice to have a place in Westerly with options. A great way to start the day and it reminds us of the nearly decade long stint living in CA! Thanks for being awesome!Dietary restrictions: vegan optionsParking: parking lot up front”
“The food is an adventure. We especially like the coconut-milk soup. We had crab rangoons, some potstickers, some peanut chicken, and a spicy crispy chicken. All good!”
“I love this place, it's one of my favorites. We do take out from here a lot, and it's always so good!Edit - 3 years later and it's better than ever.Parking: The secret is to park in the back of the lot, but most people don't know you can do that.”
“Awesome venue! My wife and I went to see the yes darling show put on by Haley Jane and Ryan montebleu. The show was great drink and food all great. Thank you to the people in charge!”
“Shunock River Brewery And River Cafe stands out because it is inclusive to everyone- no weird looks that I noticed to me or other segregated groups and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This place’s hours range from the earliest to latest dinners, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The food is very affordable and if reviewed, I have no doubt that Michelin would give it a “Bib Gourmand” badge. This place is well known for their pizza and for a good reason- pizza is made inside a historic brick column with many ingredients being local. All minors in my family were given delicious cookies upon entry. Not one employee there was even slightly bitter and half the employees were smiling even without guests around. Unique brewery made beer available on tap. Smoking guidelines are unclear and unenforced. Live music occurs twice a week. If you come here consider joining the “mug club” it is a subscription where you have a designated chilled mug that is easy to get to and you can get free beers!Food just as good as environment and all food is made after order.Summary: get your butt up and come here”
“Wow!!!❤️ Great food!!! Hidden gem!!! Hands down, the best steaks we have ever had! Amazing service, unbelievable presentation, abundant serving, excellent food! It was our first trip there for our anniversary referred to by word of mouth and we were not disappointed!!!! The owner worked the floor with his crew, cleared some dishes, and I didn't realize he was the owner until later! Make sure to get a reservation for dinner at this bustling wonderful Italian restaurant!!! Amazing! We will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level entrance.”
“Friday , February 2nd- 2024 —-husband wanted to try this coffee mainly because he saw the parking lot busy . His coffee did not disappoint. It’s a cozy little place . Great service and according of my hubby great ”
“Enjoyed an outstanding dining experience at Ella's.We started with foie gras club and fried hen of the woods mushroom appetizers. The flavors were delicious. The foie gras club had a great crunch with tomato jam, bacon and seared foie gras.It was out of this world. The fried hen mushrooms with ricotta and goat cheese were a fungi experience. Our server, Chris, was on the mark all night, her care in service was over the top but not overbearing. Her enthusiasm for this chef and restaurant was incredible. We chose the duck duo, a duck leg confit and a seared duck breast, while my partner had the grilled halibut special with asparagus tips, peas, and the fluffiest spinach gnocchis. The piece de resistance was chunks of lobster included with this meal. The flavors in both were heavenly. The thyme as jus with the duck was simply delish. The duck confit was perfectly prepared and a joy to eat, crunch by crunch. The seared duck breast cooked med-rare had a great crispness cap and still cooked to the right temp and married well with the sauce. Even the mashed potatoes elevated their taste to go with the duo dish. We somehow had room to have a dessert made in house, a cake with almond flour, candied pistachios, raspberries and vanilla gelato. Well made expresso and mochachino added to the fine dessert offering. This evening's meal will be something that I will always remember. Ella's put out a stunning dining experience. My thanks to the chef-owner Jeanie Roland and her incredible staff for a remarkable and memorable dining experience. I look forward to visiting again, and trying some other items from their varied menu.”
“First time today. The aloe tea (I got Peach ?) is out of this world good! Soooo amazingly refreshing. I can not wait to go back for another one! :) My daughter loves her shake as well.”
“Hidden gem in our fair city. Fantastic food and service . Very busy. Parking is an issue and so is getting into the lot and getting out. Don't get blocked in by errant "parkers".”
“I highly recommend the 808 juice, but you can’t go wrong with anything High Tide has to offer. All their ingredients are fresh, and the workers are always willing to accommodate changes to my order. The service is wonderful, and I love the creativity of the atmosphere.”
“You get what you pay for and at Buttonwood you're getting very fresh ice cream that is locally made along with some tremendous flavors and you're paying a premium price for it. Cheap ice cream comes with a cheap price and you can find that in the freezer section of your local grocery store. The staff are always kind and they do their best to keep the lines moving, which can get very long in the summer months. They offer sundaes as well as waffle cones and traditional cones and bowls. The atmosphere is fantastic because you're outside, enjoying the beautiful views of their fields and very often watching the cows walk around eating the grass while you enjoy ice cream with your family or friends.”
“Amazing cider with creative and yummy flavors. Great atmosphere fun games and I love the local art on the walls. Always a pleasure to go here. Also always love to support local businesses.”
“There's a self ordering kiosk on the front counter which in my opinion is more convenient. The staff are incredibly polite. The food is amazing as there arent any other Korean restaurants in the area. I pray this business stays open for a while.”
“Delicious sushi and steak teryaki on a hot plate - asked for medium rare and it came out perfect. Waitresses were attentive, and appetizers and food came out within 10 minutes of ordering on a fairly busy evening. Will be returning!”
“I hadn't been here in a few years. I remember the last time the food was just so so, it might have been a different management at that point. So I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I had the Philly cheese steak and it was absolutely delicious.”
“We love Celebrated. From the delicious baked goods to the coffee (not to mention the incredible macarons), it is evident that they take pride in everything they do. We visit almost once a week, and there is always something new and exciting in the pastry case.Vegetarian options: Fully vegan”
“If you haven't tried Mr. Pizza in Westerly then you are missing out on some delicious pizza down south. Love trying new spots in the Rhode Island area, there are some really great hidden gems that you gotta check out.”
“There are so many flavors! My brother and I were on day 4 of a 5-day backpacking trip when we stopped here. Really excellent outdoor seating area, with shade from trees and some nice-looking large rocks nearby. This place had basically every type of ice cream you could want. We also refilled our water bottles from a hose attached to the outside of the place. Great stop, exceeded expectations!”
“I love this place. Pace of play always seems to be reasonable. The conditions are more than adequate for the price. Pretty gettable layout, but some unexpected challenges can bite you (looking at you, #7 and #8). The rock-hard greens in the summer are venomous for those of us who like to play airborne golf. Back "5" holes across the road are insanity. Local knowledge required.NO TEE TIMES. Always open. Ol' reliable.”
“First time customer, loved the happy hour tacos - Taiya made an incredible nitro cold brew tequila cocktail for us and it was top notch!!! Can’t wait to come back ?”
“Slightly higher prices than other breakfast places but you get what you pay for here. Great food, no matter what you like for breakfast, nicely presented with a touch of class like cloth napkins, attentive service and well separated seating.”
