Food in amazing- esp the tuna melt- literally the best one I've ever had. Its a bit annoying to always face the "suggested tip" screen as the register person stares at you and watches = esp. as this place isn't all that cheap and a $100 order would mean a $15/20 tip for someone simply taking your money for an order, but aside from that, this place is fantastic- I've been several times, and yes, I do tip.
First & foremost: DELICIOUS food. Ordered the french toast and was extremely happy! Real maple syrup and butter. Hint of cinnamon. Thick slices of bread cooked perfectly The bacon was thick cut and cooked crispy--really yummy! Eggs were a little cool (maybe bc we sat upstairs so the server had a little walk) but still tasty. Seating outside at street level with one table inside downstairs, 9 tables inside upstairs, and 4 tables upstairs outside. Small bathroom is located...
Excellent choices on the menu, difficult to choose one, all are so tempting. I chose the roasted butternut squash sandwich. Delicious! The owner, always smiling, very personable spent time with us (4), answering any questions regarding menu selections. If you have not been to the Beehive Cafe, make it your next breakfast or lunch spot. You won't be disappointed!!
