DeWolfe Tavern in Bristol, Rhode Island was amazing. The salmon and beef filet were cooked to perfection. The homemade squash soup was the best we have ever had. Kudos the the Chef, everything was great. Service was also very good. The waitress checked in with us several times. Will definitely return again
We dined on Thanksgiving Day, so we had few choices, but our meals were delicious, the service was fantastic, and the ambiance was fun. We had 2 choices for soup: clam chowder (it was good but short on clams) or tomato bisque (G said it was good and really different with some unusual spicing). For dinner, I ordered roasted salmon, G had the vegetarian plate. My large slab of salmon was accompanied by small portions of some of the MANY vegetarian sides G got: mashed potatoes, chestnut stuffing, roasted green beans, cranberry relish. G also had rice and Manchurian Cauliflower (which she loved).
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and experience with our family. The flavors, ambience, and service were fantastic.
Well prepared food. Great cocktails excellent service. The service was attentive and not overbearing. Atmosphere perfect and noise level was quiet Prices reasonable. Recommend this restaurant
We were sat right away, nobody came over for even to give us water for about 5 minutes. Once the server came she was good and personable. The menu is a little odd but I knew that going in. Three of us got steak(two tips and one filet) not one was cooked right. Tips were ordered medium rare and cooked medium well and filet was ordered medium rare and cooked medium well. Just for the price we paid the food wasn't up to par. I thought it was a little pricy $30 for steak tips and I only got 3 tips, that's actually crazy. So we definitely will be trying other Bristol restaurants
Wonderful ambiance to start. The restaurant is in a historic stone harbor building with authentic exposed beams and fireplaces etc. Service was AMAZING (Allie, I believe). The food was also very good, with an Indian twist to some menu items. Lots of convenient parking too. Overall very well done and highly recommended.
We went here for brunch, and really enjoyed the variety of eggs, Benedict, as well as French toast. They were able to modify orders with no problem, and the food was both abundant and delicious.
Came in for Sunday brunch. Ordered the lamb hash benny. The poached eggs were overcooked and the Hollandaise sauce was sparse. Similar experience for our guests.
My wife and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary at the DeWolf Tavern recently and the overall experience was amazing. From making the reservations, to the greeting we received when we arrived, to our wonderful server Isabella, to the fantastic dinners, and the water view from our table. Thank you for our wonderful anniversary celebration!

Food is good! It's got a nice old school vibe. The staff are nice but the service is uneven. I'd come back though.
The food was excellent. Service was lacking. We had small glasses of water that were never refilled. We were planning to have a birthday dessert but didn't want to wait any longer for our server to ask us what we wanted. The lamb sandwich was delicious. The chicken meal my husband had was great too. We also thought there might be a view from the upstairs windows but they were too small. Perhaps we should have dined downstairs. The hostess was very friendly and seated up promptly.
We had a wonderful dinner outside on the patio with full view of the sunset. There were only 5-8 tables so it was quiet and peaceful. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive.
Really enjoyed the smoled salmon Naan appetizer and the lamd curry with crack wheat pilaf dinner. The flourless chocolate cake was also very good. Lori provided great service at the bar and also made a tasty rusty nail. Parking is available across the street, but I just parked on the street.
Overall the food was very good. My soup was a little bland. I question being charged $6 for a seltzer water with a refill. The first glass was mostly ice. If the drink is cold why do I need 3-4 of a glass of ice. It was originally suggested to get the 7.00 - 24 oz bottle. I should have volume vs cost it was the better deal. We sat on the patio- I have not been out there previously- it was very pleasant and quiet for this time of year
