We can only explain our experience at Foglia as amazing. We drove an hour and half to be met with the best in service, a welcome from Chef Peter and food that can only be described with a wow after every bite. Our drinks were delicious and every single course including dessert had depth and beauty in every way possible. Truly amazing experiences are hard to find, Foglia is one of them. We will be back!! Well done Foglia!! Here's to your continued success! Cheers

Fantastic on all fronts. Had the best birthday dinner here. Highly recommend the Fazzoletti e Funghi (as well as the crab cake, BBQ tempeh, and s’mores cheesecake!).
You won’t regret coming here! For those who dine here I’d recommend being adventurous and trying the more unique dishes on the menu.
Staying in Newport, took the drive north to Bristol to eat at Foglia, and so glad that we did. By far the best meal we’ve had in Rhode Island. The wife and I shared the olive dip and stuffed zucchini blossoms to start. The zucchini blossoms were good, and the pomodoro sauce served with them was really good, but the olive dip was amazing. It was the clear winner, such a great balance of salty, sweet, spicy, sour. It’s a go out of the way to have type of dish, at least for my tastes. For mains, the wife had the Fazzoletti E Fungi, while I had the Lions Mane as Poivre. Both of which were really good. The pasta had a nice bright, freshness to it. And the laminated pasta sheets were so tender with a great fresh pasta chew. The Lions Mane had a great peppery crust, fabulous sauce, and the crispy polenta was another great touch with a garlicky, salty crunch that paired nicely with the sweet-sour cherry sauce on the mushroom.
Picked up dinner after local non-vegan, yay, recommendation: lion’s mane filet with sides and chocolate meltdown dessert were standouts. Not the hugest servings but fantastic food.
Such a delicious little restaurant! I’m vegan, dined at Foglia with my carnivorous husband and we both loved it. The food is fresh and delicious and has multiple layers of flavor. It was such a treat. After our meal, Chef Pete came out to talk with us about our meal. Will definitely return.
As amazing and IMPECCABLE as the food was, the real shining star here is the service. Now, being someone from new england, i learn not to take bad service too seriously- and thus good service almost never impresses me as I'm mainly there for the food. But at foglia, they brought us little culinary gifts from the chef throughout our meal. This is something I've never seen before but is such a genius idea! The chef came out on multiple occasions as well to ask how our meal was, something I've also never seen before in such quantity. I kind of don't know what to say. And, once again, this is paired with some of the best food I've ever tasted.
Visiting the area and had the most wonderful meal at Foglia. Everything about it was wonderful from calling and making a reservation and having Linda make me feel so welcomed and excited for us to come to arriving and getting what felt like royal treatment and unbelievably delicious food. They have really gone all out with attention to detail here. It’s not often you find a restaurant that has dialed in all aspects: ambiance, food and service. But this place has it all and does it well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Foglia is a spectacular plant based casual fine dining experience. Chef Pete and his team brilliantly create each dish. Each time we dine here we find ourselves exchanging silent but knowing glances across the table in awe of the pure artistry and flavors that we experience. It’s love and joy and compassion with every bite.

The food is really good! We drove all the way from Quincy, and it was worth it! Updated from previous review on 2025-02-23
I was invited to Folia the other night for dinner with friends. This was the first time I’ve been to a fully dedicated vegetarian restaurant. It is a five star experience in my opinion! From the moment we walked into the restaurant,we were seated and served our delicious appetizers, which included the delicious white bean dip, and the chickpea fries, our main courses which included the Fazzoletti e Funghi, Hearts of Palm Crabcake and the Tempeh Mozambique, I was completely satiated. Then, we indulged in the.Lemon Trifle and several plates of the Chocolate Mousse Cake and finished with a Pumpkin Latte. I was privileged to meet Pete a wonderful chef, and as we exited his cozy restaurant, we were greeted by his folks! Couldn’t have asked for better!……………..I’ll be back!
Dietary restrictions: Also, just about everything is gluten-free.

This restaurant is amazing! We came up from Brooklyn to go to RI VegFest and made sure to get a reservation here before we went. Everything was delicious and the staff, including the chef/owner, are great! Fresh homemade pasta is delicious (whether you're vegan or not). Husband said that his lions mane mushroom filet's gravy was amazing and the tenderness of the mushroom melted in his mouth.

I have recently visited a few fine dining vegan restaurants with one of those being Eleven Madison Park in NYC. This may be bold to say, but Foglia's dishes surpass that of Eleven Madison Park. The flavors that are captured in each dish at Foglia are impeccable and each bite is a tantalizing experience on the tastebuds. I highly recommend Foglia, especially the tasting menu experience.
