What a great restaurant. The onion soup is world-class, as was the Steak Frites. Great drink selection. We had the Grenache red wine and were very impressed. The warm bread and olives is a must order and outstanding value. Can't say enough good things about our meal and experience at Le Central.
I recommend Le Central in Bristol, my wife and I thought the food was excellent, from the appetizer, onion soup, the main course ( I had the Coq an Vin my wife had the Cod Chowder ) right thru to the dessert apple tart and bread pudding. Not only that the coffee was great.
Service was very good. Atmosphere was perfect with background music but we could easily hold a conversation.

My friend and I enjoyed everything about Le Central. The menu isn't big but has a nice variety. We shared the cauliflower soup, which came with bread and butter, all very tasty and fresh. For entrees, we had rack of lamb and Moroccan chicken, cooked perfectly. Dessert was house made ice cream and a piece of dark chocolate with nuts and fruit, just enough to finish off a lovely dinner. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely go back.
