We took one of their monthly cocktail classes and loved it! We received a welcome drink and made 3 drinks during the class while learning about different tools, spirits, and techniques. We loved the pace of the class as you had ample time to sip and chat after each cocktail. The instructor, Jared, was great. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have been to O'Brien & Broughs for casual drinks before and found it to be drinks you'd expect from a fancy bar in NYC, without the pretention. The drinks are incredible and the employees are approachable, knowledgeable, and know how to create a true cocktail experience. We liked it so much that we recently took a cocktail course there led by the person who helped us during our first time at the bar: Jared. Turns out he's as great at teaching as he is making drinks. The class was informative, lighthearted, and most importantly, showed us that we can make some great cocktails (though not as good as Jared's). Would recommend this place as the first or last stop during your night or anytime in between. The class is a must if you want to learn some interesting techniques and have a great time.

Fantastic. The staff was friendly and kind. The atmosphere was excellent. And most importantly, the cocktails were stupendous. Fresh ingredients prepared with care and expertly mixed to create the most delicious drinks I have ever had. Highly recommend. The Eastside cocktail was my particular favorite, with cucumber, mint and lime making the perfect summer flavor, refreshing, unique and interesting.

Amazing place for an evening of cocktails. Go with friends or just a couple... always good service and the best drinks. They have started table service (previously we ordered at the bar). No food... great ambience. Can't say enough good things...
I wish I had a home with this kind of atmosphere. The drinks were phenomenal. Tried the old fashioned and the sazerac. Small place with a classy but relaxed vibe.
Edit: Second time going, tried a Port au fig and a Remember the Maine. My group passed around each other’s drinks to try, and I’m confident that if I were to point blindly at the drink menu they’d bring me something good. Top notch bar. Also grabbed a t-shirt that fit surprisingly well, and a beanie that’s very warm.

Its sophisticated yet cozy interior is the perfect place to start your evening, or end up after dinner for an exquisite night cap.
