I stand by my review but would like to add after seeing that disappointing response from the restaurant. Nobody in our party raised a voice or acted emotionally. We were met with staff that was uninterested in being helpful and at no point was anyone's safety in question. If the footage was actually reviewed they would have seen us asking the manager to please let us enjoy our meal and leave us in peace. The food was good - not amazing but good. Our server was wonderful, but hostess and the manager were hostile and rude. It was incredibly loud and a little overpriced.
We were greeted by an energetic friendly server. She was attentive to our needs. Food was very very good and we sat outside in patio area. This restaurant has now become our favorite for a great calming setting for dinner.
Katie, our server, was excellent, personable and attentive considering how busy she was. The food was delicious and it has never disappointed. Pomodoro is truly a neighbourhood gem.
We (two couples) had dinner at Pomodoro during the recent heat wave. The small interior dining room had sufficient air conditioning, thankfully. The food was delicious, particularly the shrimp scampi and linguini with clams. The service was very good. Our server was helpful with answering our questions and very friendly. It was walkable to the Airbnb where we were staying and the restaurant had been recommended by the host. Truly a neighborhood gem!
Food was delicious, the staff super personable and attentive. Atmosphere is calm and quiet.
My first time here. A small but cozy and comfortable place. I really enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese. Our waitress Katie was very friendly and quick with getting us our food!
I didn't even have time to take a picture because it was so amazing that I ate it!
Great food the most reasonable prices for Italian I have seen at all on doordash for my area which is the East Bay.
Definitely worth it. One serving of lasagna served two of us.
Favorite place to eat, Clams Casino special is the best, chicken parm is excellent
This restaurant is a cute little place in Bristol. The food was amazing the staff was attentive did tiramisu knock it right out of the park this is a must try if you don't mind going over the bridge
My friend Marlon brought me to this absolute gem of a restaurant. It’s small in size, but enormously overflowing with a waitstaff filled with personality, charm and a sense of humor. I haven’t even told you how delicious the food was tonight. My first meal at every Italian restaurant is always chicken parmigiana. You might think it’s a boring choice, but it gives me a baseline to compare equally across the board. This place is tops!!
Honestly, I cannot recommend them highly enough. But obviously I am not the first, nor will I be the last. You better plan on calling ahead to get a reservation. Don’t complain if they are booked solid. It’s a good thing, because they are that good.
I regret not taking a photo, but I didn’t put my knife or fork down once I started. The waitstaff actually noticed and joked about how fast it was gone. You gotta try it!

Ordered the spaghetti and little necks yesterday on 4/25/25. I also ordered the pear salad too. The spaghetti had no taste at all and the salad had a few pears in it. I was very disappointed in the entire dinner. I didn't even finish it. For the price, it should have much better than that. I've decided not to go back. I cannot see what all the hype is about that place. Think I'll stick to the Wharf Tavern in Warren. Don't mind paying the price, but I'd like to have a good tasting dinner.
If you're in the area on vacation and need a solid spot to grab some food that won't cost you an arm and a leg, this is a good choice. I was here for the weekend and my fiance and I decided to stop here. It's a small cozy spot that plays good music (Frank Sinatra type), food isn't true authentic italian but it's solid. We got the veal parm, chicken picatta, arancini, and calamri. Arancini were by far the best thing they offer, and for dessert the limocello cake is nice and light. The veal parm was solid, I just wish it was crispier. For a quick bite to eat, or a subtle date night... this is a great choice that won't break the bank, has good portion sizes, and has solid flavor.
One of the great restaurants in Bristol, very quaint and lovely dining experience, staff is great, generous menu selections and food that so delicious I still remember and can't wait to return. Always a great visit whether dining in or take out, highly recommended and can't wait to go back, thanks again for all the great food you put out every single week
