Portside is across the road from the water, with lovely views of boats. There's ample outdoor dining. The renovated mill interior has a separate sports bar and and two large dining rooms. Menu has a good variety, with some interesting apps, unique sandwiches, and upscale entrées. I was happily surprised that they had iced coffee, which was excellent. Their signature dessert is a creme brule donut- get it. Our server was quite gracious.
Excellent option on Bristol's waterfront. Good (free) street and off-street parking within a short distance even on the busiest weekend of the year. Reservations strongly recommended (we had one and were seated immediately, others waiting in line). Outstanding selection of draft beers. Appetizers are delicious and plenty of for the whole table; try the Korean beef "nachos" on wonton chips, a great riff on traditional nachos. The main courses took a while to arrive,...
Service and drinks were very good and the wonton nacho appetizer was delicious. Fish and chips were exceptionally good, with a crispy batter and tender juicy fish, but the ribeye left a lot to be desired. It had no sear and was cooked at medium well instead of medium rare. It was still tender and the chimichurri was flavorful, which saved the dish. We stayed for the live music after dinner which was fun but we were surprised the band wrapped up around 9:00pm.
