Always great food and service! Fantastic clam chowder. Homemade bread, I highly recommend the focaccia. Everything was homemade or local and you could tell they take great pride in everything they make and serve, including an espresso martini made with so much love. I now trust anything they want to make, I don't even need a menu, I know it will be great. @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

SS Dion never disappoints. The quality of food is exceptional. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Bristol area.
The food and service was amazing, the staff is very friendly, this was our second time there, and we look forward to going back again.
First time trying SS Dion. It was great. We will be going back and we recommend the restaurant to anyone. Jen (our waitress) and the hostess were both great. Very professional, friendly and informative. The food was great, as well. We ordered salad, specialty flat bread, pasta, and two seafood dishes. All were great. Wine list is strong and reasonably priced. The ambiance was perfect; quiet, we sat by the fireplace, not rushed and not waiting.
Another great time. My husband always has the swordfish and he had it with a horseradish sauce this time. A wonderful choice. SSDion never dissappoints.
Chef Nick has once again delighted us! Particularly love the smoked bluefish in the Caesar salad. Adds a wonderful alternative to anchovies.
From the hostess who greeted us to the excellent wait staff ( Mandy was great) we truly felt welcomed. The presentation of the cocktails was wonderful ( beautiful glass ware). The food was well presented & perfectly cooked! The pace was relaxed, we never felt rushed nor did we feel like we had to wait for the food ( so many restaurants rush the food to the table). We will definitely return to try more items on the menu!!
We had a lovely dinner at S S Dion. I had never been before but went on a recommendation. We shared the duck fat potato appetizer, we had 2 burgers, salmon, clams and bolognese. Then topped off it with apple crisp and the mud pie. Megan was an excellent server. She was very attentive and knowledgable. I look forward to going back in the summer.
One of our favorite spots in the area. Delicious local food and outstanding service. Great location. A local gem!
Had the pasta dish with fish sausage. Was so so. Fishy, salty a lot of olive oil. First time in 40 years that I had food here that was less than either excellent or very good.

The service was excellent, knowledgeable and pleasant. The food was served promptly and was well prepared. We ordered scallops, steak frites, and spaghetti bolognese as entrees. All three were tasty. The Sauvignon Blanc was very good. The price for three people was under $200 including a $40 tip. I recommend this restaurant.
Loved the food, service and atmosphere. The server was knowledgeable and provided just the right contact. She was wonderful and very professional. I have been to the Ss Dion since it opened and I am never disappointed.
Food was good but poor service diminished our experience. First problem was waiting about 20 minutes and then still having to flag down our server to place our order. Food came out timely enough but our server never appeared to inquire if everything was ok. Our focaccia bread was served with evoo but we would have preferred butter. Small problems but also easily corrected.
This is my current favorite restaurant. House made pasta, house made bread, there are no bad tables. Jennifer was a fantastic server, the food is excellent. I can't say enough good things about S.S. Dion.
My husband is a local commercial fisherman and a tough critic when it comes to seafood. We just had our third visit and he can't stop raving about all of the fish appetizers (yes, he ordered them all) An unusual local variety that you will not find on anyone else's menu. When he's on land, this spot's going to be our date night out.
