This is my second time dinning here and Thames Waterside never disappoints. Food, ambiance, service is outstanding! Let's not forget the amazing views!

This lovely spot right on the water in Bristol was excellent in every way--the food, the service, and the great ambience. You can sit at a chair or table along the water and watch the sunset and the sailboats! Parking may be a challenge at times, but that might have been for us because there was a wedding at the venue the evening we were there.

Great location - sat outside on the covered patio overlooking the harbor. It's a beautiful setting. The service was terrific, setting terrific - bumps up my rating - but the food is average and pricey for the quality. Our calamari appetizer was bland (table of 5 didn't even finish it) the fish in my fish burger/sandwich was tough (though the fries were good), fish & chips others at my table had was fine/standard, steak sandwich fine. So much potential to be a fabulous restaurant...

Decent meals and desserts. Friendly staff. High energy environment. Incredible view. Will return.

Very lovely dinner with over 20 people. We reserved 2 tables of 6 and then that group grew to 20 with unexpected family showing up as well. The restaurant quickly accommodated us and the service was great. Our wait staff was attentive, accurate and the food and drinks great! Go here for your fun and gatherings.

Our waitress did not come by for over 20 minutes, we were about to get up and leave. No water or silverware.

We've been coming to this restaurant in Bristol for years — the beautiful views and the ability to sit close to the water have always made it special for us. Unfortunately, the last couple of visits have left us disappointed. The first time, we were seated right near the kitchen, which didn't smell great and felt more like an afterthought than a relaxing dining spot. I gave it a pass then, understanding it's their busy season. This time, I specifically put in a request for a table closer to the water (knowing they can't always accommodate), but we were still seated in a corner section against a wall, even though there were several open tables by the edge. It also took our waitress about 10–15 minutes just to greet us, and we hardly saw her during the meal — maybe four times total all night. On the bright side, the food is still very good — the clam chowder especially was excellent. But it's getting harder to justify coming back when it feels like we're being tucked away in the least desirable spots with lackluster service. I really hope they can get back to the experience that made us loyal customers in the first place — beautiful views, great food, and warm, attentive service.

Great view, great music. Two Titos and soda water in plastic cups were $37...? Ha!

Beautiful view! Great service! Delicious food. The food was so fresh and perfectly seasoned! Had an amazing time and will definitely visit every time we are visiting.

Very good Lobster Roll even though it's smaller than last year's and it is over $40! I did recognize that it is smaller this year but it's still good. The oil that the french fries were done in was so old our french fries were wilty. Ick.. Our drinks were good and our waitress was very nice can't beat The View .

Went to Thames for lunch, while visiting the shops in Bristol, RI. Excellent choice, excellent stop. Was seated promptly at reservation time by very courteous young lady. Service was great, sat on the rock overlooking the water/marina, and good was great. Would highly recommend the restaurant and would definitely return.
