Food was good, but very slow service though. Not sure if it was an off night but our drinks remained empty for long periods of time. Food took forever to come out. I will say it got better towards the end of our visit.

I’ve always loved the food here but tonight I ordered the “dockside” which consists of 3 clam cakes, a cup of clam chowder, and fish and chips. The portions were decent but it was mostly bread. The clam cakes and chowder literally had zero clams, and the fish was almost all batter. They used to have much better value for the money. I’m truly disappointed.

I visited this restaurant recently and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The location is quaint with wood framed trimmed. A real backroads new England location. Unfortunately, that’s where the welcoming feeling stops. When I arrived it took a minute or two for me to be seated. After being seated no one came. No server, no water, no service. Around me other patrons were helped and after a 35 minute wait no eye contact was made. I also watched as a group pf patrons arriving were welcomed with the same service. The service was abysmal, with staff showing little interest in customer satisfaction. The wait time was excruciatingly long, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. There are other better restaurants I have reviewed in the area. I suggest any other spot over this one.

Uncle Ronnie's has the BEST food, entertainment, staff & beverages! Their specials are outstanding! Sunday is the best day "Turkey Day" so delicious!! Uncle Ronnie's is our favorite place to go, hang out, eat, & chat with my friendly bartender Vicky!!

Stopped into Uncle Ronnie's tavern to get dinner with a friend and sat at the bar. Overall I would recommend this place because the drinks were good. We ordered dinner and both had steak tips, we had asked for the steak tips to be medium but they came out well done the bartender was very helpful in getting that corrected.
