Polite driver willing to take change tips and this order of the monster burger confirmed my suspicions that Elite makes a damn good burger. Juicy enough to dip my fries and doesn’t just taste like toppings and salt. Really good for around $14 minus the delivery fee. Thank you so much guys :)”

“OK, first of all, this place ain't the Capital Grill. There is an extensive menu of decent food and good beer offerings. Prices are very reasonable, waitstaff are great. They have musical bingo 2x per week, which we enjoy, and other activities. Overall, a good fun place.”

“Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had, in or outside of a restaurant. I had one of the specials, a Portuguese-style steak, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. Juicy, smothered in a delectable sauce. The portion was incredible for the price. The service was perfectly paced, the staff were attentive and friendly. I will be coming back, and inviting everyone I can!”

Sourdough bread- amazing and light but crusty on top! Soups are fabulous- Italian wedding, chicken chowder and turkey chili were our first try’s and impossible to pick a favorite. All just delicious. Now, portobello stuffed mushrooms- flavor bombs- must try!! Croissants are all just phenomenal! Each trip leads us to taste test more options and thankfully, today is our next trip!! “There is never a dull moment at the tavern. I’ve been frequenting this place for over 10 years at this point. They have an incredible blues jam on Sundays with the hottest house band in town. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. A good friend of mine hosts the open mic on Thursday nights, and they have a great format you can play as a solo artist or you can do an open jam. They have a very affordable wing special on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is lively and fun. I’ve made friends with some of the regulars. Some of them have been coming to the same bar for 50 years. The owner Robyn is very friendly and hard-working. Her whole family is invested in the business and I really appreciate that, having worked in the service industry for a long time.
