“We have gotten fish and chips, pizza ans tuna grinder and everything is delicious! The fries are almost potato wedges and breaded and fried. The cheese pizzas crust is a little thicker than other local pizza places but i am not complaining!

“OK, first of all, this place ain't the Capital Grill. There is an extensive menu of decent food and good beer offerings. Prices are very reasonable, waitstaff are great. They have musical bingo 2x per week, which we enjoy, and other activities. Overall, a good fun place.”

“Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had, in or outside of a restaurant. I had one of the specials, a Portuguese-style steak, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. Juicy, smothered in a delectable sauce. The portion was incredible for the price. The service was perfectly paced, the staff were attentive and friendly. “Absolutely delicious! I ordered a 10 inch vanilla cake with chocolate ganache for my parents 50th wedding anniversary, it was beautiful! I didn’t have a specific design in mind, gave a general idea of our theme and they knocked it out of the park! We also ordered several different kinds of bars, which were all amazing. Everyone at the party asked where the dessert came from, I highly recommend!”

“There is never a dull moment at the tavern. I’ve been frequenting this place for over 10 years at this point. They have an incredible blues jam on Sundays with the hottest house band in town. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. A good friend of mine hosts the open mic on Thursday nights, and they have a great format you can play as a solo artist or you can do an open jam. They have a very affordable wing special on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is lively and fun. I’ve made friends with some of the regulars. Some of them have been coming to the same bar for 50 years. The owner Robyn is very friendly and hard-working. Her whole family is invested in the business and I really appreciate that, having worked in the service industry for a long time.
