“There is never a dull moment at the tavern. I’ve been frequenting this place for over 10 years at this point. They have an incredible blues jam on Sundays with the hottest house band in town. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. A good friend of mine hosts the open mic on Thursday nights, and they have a great format you can play as a solo artist or you can do an open jam. They have a very affordable wing special on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is lively and fun. I’ve made friends with some of the regulars. Some of them have been coming to the same bar for 50 years. The owner Robyn is very friendly and hard-working. Her whole family is invested in the business and I really appreciate that, having worked in the service industry for a long time. What are you waiting for? Go down to the roadhouse!”

I have never been disappointed in anythingI’ve gotten off their menu, but I have to say tonight I ordered a large pizza, pepperoni, sausage, onions, and mushrooms, and in all honesty it was the best pizza I have ever had and that includes Pizza. I have gotten from Federal Hill. To whoever made my pizza tonight fantastic job.”

“Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had, in or outside of a restaurant. I had one of the specials, a Portuguese-style steak, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. Juicy, smothered in a delectable sauce. The portion was incredible for the price. The service was perfectly paced, the staff were attentive and friendly. I will be coming back, and inviting everyone I can!”

“So pleased that we drive by this amazing market on the way to my son and DIL’s new house. Everything we’ve tried so far is over the top delicious! Sourdough bread- amazing and light but crusty on top! Soups are fabulous- Italian wedding, chicken chowder and turkey chili were our first try’s and impossible to pick a favorite. All just delicious. Now, portobello stuffed mushrooms- flavor bombs- must try!! Croissants are all just phenomenal! Each trip leads us to taste test more options and thankfully, today is our next trip!! “I ordered a gender reveal cake for my sister, and it exceeded expectations! Despite placing the order for pickup during a busy Easter weekend, they were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with.

I had shared a fondant inspiration photo, and they were able to transform it into a even better buttercream design so that it would not only taste better but looked even cuter and more elegant than the inspo photo. The attention to detail stood out right away. Guests kept pointing out the small touches, like the 3D buttercream bees with buttercream wings and little eyes. As someone who used to decorate cakes myself, I was also really impressed by their piping skills, not just on this cake but on the cookies and other desserts I saw in the display case when I picked it up (It also smelled so good in their shop). I also could tell they truly make their cakes from scratch- so delicious and beautifully done!

The ordering process was simple and straightforward, which I really appreciated. There was also a last-minute change in my plans where I was originally going to provide the gender, but my sister decided to surprise the rest of us instead. They handled the change seamlessly and coordinated directly with her for the inside color without any issues.
