“The best homemade cheesecakes ever. Delicious with an assortment so huge l have a hard time choosing. My favorite is banana. I love the individual cupcakes. They are a good size. Not mini. The coffee served is a local roaster so that is a plus for me.The restaurant is a good size and there is ample parking in the back. Nice friendly service, too in a great rustic area to shop for antiques or a nice walk.”

“Amazing pulled pork sandwich! They make it themselves, the right way. Pork cooked low and slow, so tender and juicy it's incredible. On a nice big soft roll. I regretted the appetizer only because it meant I was too full to finish the sandwich! On the other hand, the leftovers were really good, even cold! Came with a side of chips. I'll definitely go back!”

“It has such a flavor of freedom you see. Around a month or two ago I was served divorce papers from my wife. And we had tried to work through it and I figured we would patch things up but she surprised me. And on that day I got a few to go pizzas from the bakery cause I was in the area and it truly is the best around. The flavor took me to a place where no woman yells at you for having a beer on a week night or constantly nags me about my secretary who is truly just a platonic coworker. “One of our favorite hidden gems. The food, service, and people are all amazing. The only thing we wish we could have as an improvement was a location closer to our home. Whenever we are in the area, we try to visit and are never disappointed. Whether it's the specials, lobster bisque, or the Portuguese Steak, you honestly cannot go wrong. “Amazing ?This review was from a year ago. 2023now I'm editing to add my review from this year.2024I couldn't ask for a better luck with this bakery! they make cakes to perfection. I ordered a cake a month in advance and was beautiful it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. we had a bad experience with a restaurant dropping the cake and we didn't got a chance to eat it, but after explaining the situation to them they were able to do a second cake, last minute, same day, it was a more simple one compared to the first one but I was impress and with endless gratitude because I would not expect any baker to make a same day cake and specially as nice as the one they did. they went above and beyond on the experience, the flavor of the cake is great and the detail they put on their work is amazing! could not recommend them enough!Thank you!”

“I finally stopped by today for a cone of ice cream and was super excited that they make homemade waffle cones....I got the chocolate one which was so absolutely perfect....I've had them at other places before but they didn't taste like chocolate but the one I had here was perfectly chocolatey.....and the purple cow ice cream was delicious ???? they have all kinds of candies also, candied nuts, fudge, etc....this place is definitely at the top of my favorite list now!!!! ???”

“Great way to spend some time before or after lunch. Was looking for a nearby place to do a wine tasting after grabbing lunch in the area. Thanks to our Yelp friends, we found this spot! After lunch we took a drive to a quiet unassuming winery in Johnston. Don't get me wrong, we were a bit skeptical driving down a sad lonely dirt road leading to the Verde BUT we were pleasantly surprised!! Keep in mind, we went at the beginning of the Spring season so it's not peak weather by any means! We parked and made our way to the wine tasting room - it's not as clearly marked but once you enter it'll be the door to the right. We were met by Jim, the owner. An elderly and whimsical man who is so proud of his craft! We ended up doing the full tasting at $12pp. Jim took his time going through every option they had to offer and was extremely open to all comments and questions. He showed us his method of smelling, swirling and tasting. We walked away with 3 bottles and a whole lot more knowledge than when we walked in. They do tastings Fri-Sun 11am-5pm. Great spot for a little wine tasting without the drive down south.”

“My team and I came in for a quick meal before a film shoot not realizing this was more of a nice sit down restaurant. At first it was a tad embarrassing because we had to admit to the server that we were on a time crunch, which is a weird thing to say at a restaurant of this caliber. They IMMEDIATELY made us feel welcome, and our awesome server said he’ll get our meals in pronto. The food was delicious and their olive oil is to die for! Highly recommend this place! “Liked the decor, location and staff was kind. But I bit disappointed on the food variety.With the name Beef Barn, I was expecting a wide variety of beef options, and at least actual dinner plates. Only have like 4 beef options, roast beef, hamburger, and I forget the others. It's just your typically sandwich shop kinda place. Same old same old. Food was good and prices where great! But was wishing for more BEEF, at a BEEF barn. I will return again for a quick lunch stop if in the area, but not a dinner spot or something I would go out of my way for. Sorry Beef Barn ❤️”
