Very creamy and good seafood, especially with the chowder.
Great location being near piers for a nice coastline feel.
They even let you play cornhole while you wait for food

I want to gatekeep this place so badly but cannot allow myself. Ever since the Hitching Post in Charlestown closed I've been on the hunt for the "best" clamcakes in Rhode Island and I'm certain I've found it here. Worth a visit on your way to or from the beach.

Place is so over priced. $10 for a Whaler Rise? If I want to get ripped off I'll go to the Matunuck Oyster Bar not the Ninigret Oyster Bar.

We ordered the clam cakes and chowder combo. Chowder was over seasoned with dill and I couldn't finish it. No potatoes and barely any clams. Clam cakes were under cooked with hardly any clams, tasted like undercooked dough. The worst , most expensive lunch.

Cool clam bar. You order from a window and they offer a few adult drinks. The seating is on an open patio and some seats are covered. The location is on a river and marsh. Great staff.

Cute little Clam Shack by the Breachway with a beautiful setting and outside seating with Cornhole set up for anyone to play. I ordered and devoured the Fish Sandwich that was a full fillet with tartar sauce and pickle combined, great combination that was unexpected. The bun was light and held up well considering most other places they fall apart. The fries are thick cut and seasoned well and I washed it down with a Dell's lemonade. A bit disappointed with the clam cakes, they were light, not too doughy, and deep fried perfectly, but unfortunately they were very bland. The clam chowder was good but I felt like it was missing something. I would definitely go back to try more from their menu and bonus, they serve alcohol!

Waited 45 min for food after ordering and it was not crowded. Fish was odiferous and we know fresh fish does not smell. Fish batter was gooey next to fish. $52.00 for two fish and chips plates. Not worth the wait, taste or wait time, even tho I was hoping...Will not go again.
