Overall, we enjoyed our dinner/experience. Food was delicious ( the only restaurant i know of that serves venison), atmosphere was basic - diner-like - (but expected based on other reviews), and service was ok (2 high school aged girls who were watching TikTok vids ... meh, whatever ... we always had what we needed and we're not always the center of the universe). I recommend it, but just set proper expectations. The breakfasts look fantastic and I would like to try eating...
Ordered the vegan bowl and was disappointed. The three sisters rice was dry and unseasoned- no strawberry- cranberry chutney seen. Although the fresh blueberries and dried cranberries were a nice addition. And the corn cakes heavy and cold. Table service was fine but the kitchen slow - waited over 1/2 hr for the food. The was a TV on facing the small room, that a child was watching, the sound annoying.
Authentic American Indian food with a large variety. I have been there about six times, ordered different foods, and always enjoyed. This time, I had venison . It's easy to se3 why this place was awarded a John Beard award. Always check the hours to confirm they will be open before going.
