Used to live down the street from here 20 years ago and visited almost daily. Today was my first time in since that time. My two pet peeves of coffee shops happen to be in this shop-Commercial Syrups for coffee flavors instead of homemade syrups or flavored brews for ice coffee and individually wrapped pastry items...They only had one flavor of brewed iced coffee. Sandwich was ok-the cheese was way too fake tasting for me. Staff were friendly but seemed that enjoying their own coffees took precedent over making customers....

Probably the best bagel I have ever had. I have been here twice and fell in LOVE with the french toast bagels. Will be 10000% coming back a lot for those!!!

I recently moved to Charlestown during the summer and was looking for a new cafe to frequent similar to the one I was going to where I lived. I was greeted with 2 girls the first time rude and condescending as could be when I asked for the coffee flavors that I couldn’t find posted anywhere. I came back for a second chance and same thing. Today I had an issue with my bank at the register and the boy working sneered and laughed at me for it. I will drive however far is needed to go back to alaina's coffee. I feel at home they’re welcoming and like a second family. This is nothing the same. The attitude of the staff towards lower income college students is horrendous. I will never be back. The 2 stars is just because the coffee and pastries are good.

They’re busy for a reason. Best pumpkin muffin I’ve had in a long time. Bagel with cc, can’t go wrong. Breakfast sandwich, the best.

Cute place and great location! Good offer and really nice to sit outside, in back, on their peaceful grounds, at picnic tables! I would love to come back soon, and try some of their pastries and breakfast foods. Great, friendly service, as well!

Coffee is amazing and so is the food. I was sad when the bakery closed but I am glad that the vibes and food is still amazing.

Staff is nice and seems to have a system that works to keep the line moving. Not much room inside to wait. Would be good if there was an awning over the door when the line is long and the weather not great.Vegetarian options: Did not order but saw items on menu. Would like to try their sandwiches. There is a good variety to choose from.Parking: Parking lot is long and narrow, directly on the main road. Be careful leaving watching for traffic coming around the cornerWheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair entrance but you can order online and have it brought out to you

Tried the chunky monkey iced coffee today! I really appreciate when coffee shops have brewed flavors rather than syrups, so thanks! Pretty tasty

Only had their coffee it was good. Reasonably priced, cheaper than both Dunkin and Starbucks. Staff was friendly and efficient. Next time we are in the area we will try their food.
