Great bacon cheese burger and fries, friendly server and nice location. Dining companions also enjoyed stuffies and chowder. Would recommend.

Excellent atmosphere, food, and service! Beer trap temp is up on the wall of the bar so you know how frosty your drink will be. Food portions are great!

I took some friends here for lunch after golf. three burgers and a Reuben. All the sandwiches come with chips but not the Burgers. "Pretty Lame ". Drum Roll. when we got the bill they charged me 50 cents for mayo .on my burger..Ketchup, Mustard, and Hotsauce on the table FREE. but charge for Mayo on a Burger..

The food is also from the 80s.
I went here once in Spring of 1997 and just went again because happened to be in the area. The outside had totally changed but the inside was how I remembered. The entree prices seemed high at first but the portions are HUGE. The $26 jagerschnitzel was nearly the same size as the plate! As an avid cheapskate, I approve. Delicious and well presented too. Inside atmosphere was cozy and quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Service was fast and friendly. Would go again!
Parking: Not sure why but the Rathskeller has several giant parking lots.

perfect place to go if you want a cozy dinner for 2 or a group...great place to hang at the bar...fun games outside...fantastic bands for rockin out and dancing! I grew up with the old Rathskeller which was a nice place to eat but this new Rathskeller is just what we needed around here!
