We had a delightful (off season) lunch at this lovely, spacious restaurant/bar off the main road in Charlestown, RI. We ate at the beautiful wide wooden bar and had a delicious and reasonably priced meal. The service was friendly, local, prompt and attentive. My cajun spiced flounder with horseradish aioli over rice with salsa was delicious, a very generous portion (made two meals) and spiced perfectly rather than the limited bland "cajun" food served elsewhere around here. The Garlic Bread Bites were also delicious. A lovely, quiet, delicious and very affordable meal just a minute off the beaten track. Highly recommend it, especially off season in South County, RI!

When in town this is our go to place. This summer we have been there probably a dozen times and always have a really great time. The staff is always so friendly and the food fresh and tasty. We will be back many more times this fall. THANKS!!!!

Bartenders rude and treat the non locals like their doing the customers a favor. Very disappointing that that they just don’t get it. Been there many times since it’s close and I keep hoping the treatment would improve. Likely not going back anytime soon. Too many other options for restaurants who actually want to keep and retain customers.

Very dark atmosphere which made it difficult to see the menu. . My fish tacos were soggy. My husband liked the pastrami sandwich but it was very small. Not the best. I probably won't go
beautiful indoor decor, very friendly service, clean bathrooms and eating space, and fantastic food (although a bit pricey) even if it was on the expensive side, you get what you pay for. I had a steak that was perfectly cooked with a spaghetti side and my friend had a soup with calamari and clams. They loved the soup and I loved my steak. I wish I could come back here, I really do.Dietary restrictions: Had many gluten free options and a friendly service towards people with allergies

The management at this establishment is awful. Very confrontational. We waited an hour for a table, which is fine, it’s the summer busy season. Then 40 mins for our food once ordered. When our food arrived, what we received was not what we expected. We simply asked the waitress if we could order something else and that we did not want the entree. She took the entree, came back with it boxed and bagged and stated that the manger said that they could not comp the entree because it did not specify on the menu that it was hand breaded. I ordered a new entree and asked for the manger. When the manger approached our table she was very defensive and confrontational raising her voice so loudly that other restaurant goers were looking at us. It was awful and I had to deescalate the situation because the manager continued to repeat herself, not even listening. I would not recommend this establishment, terrible customer service from management. I would recommend that you spend the money elsewhere.

If your looking for quality food along with good service, I would not recommend The Cove in Charlestown, RI. I can honestly say I could have had better food from any drive thru and my friends and family would have been more satisfied.Trust me and spend the same amount of money and take your friends and family to get fresh, unprocessed food at one of the many other amazing local restaurants.
