This was me and my son’s first time visiting the Nordic lodge and it exceeded our expectations. I loved the lobster and crab. And the lobster Mac and cheese was amazing. Overall The food was great and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommended

Great place to visit for my 48th Birthday!! Ok everyone was soooo pleasant and helpful. Oh and our waiter Ryan was pleasant and helpful even took some pictures for us. He told me to stop by the gift shop for my BDAY gift. Now I ate about 2 or 3 lobsters a piece of my sons steak OMG delicious. Some mussel salad that I will try to make for 1 of my summer cookouts. The stuff mushrooms and ooh the lobster mac & cheese just sinful ! Now I've had it at other establishments and no good but at the Nordic Lodge it was just sinful ! The lobster fritters absolutely delicious The corn was really sweet no butter needed. To end my day I had a piece of caramel cheesecake whoaaaaa my tastebuds screamed..lol but the 3hr drive was well worth it. An experience I tell ya... I will be back !!

What can I say. If you love seafood or to eat period then you need to come here. My sister took me here when I was pregnant but unfortunately I couldn't each much cause my stomach was sensitive to flavors. I could really only stomach the snowcrab legs but i had no problem with that. The king crab legs were so big I did not feel like cracking them all open. They had so many options from deserts to cookies to seafood to steak and many more. It is definitely pricey but worth it.Kid-friendliness: family friendly

A beautiful family-run lakeside property known for their incredible lobster, seafood, prime rib eat-all-you-can buffet with amazing desserts. Open from mid-April to mid-December and closed for winter.This was a nice less than 3 hr. drive from New York City, we chose Mystic CT as our spot for the weekend and it was a 40 min. drive to Charlestown, RI. Immaculate property, huge parking spot, the warmest staff! We've fasted at least 24 hours before we went here thinking I could eat more lobsters but I only had 4! Strategically enjoyed just all the seafood and prime rib to stay low carb but couldn't resist having a coffee shake for dessert! For $135 per adult with maximum dining time of 2 hrs., I'd say it was absolutely worth it, especially when you're celebrating special events! We hope to come back and try the rest next time! :) More on my profile!

So, this is not so much a review of the restaurant, so much more of a plea. It has been been on my bucket for many years to travel throughout the Northeast and eat at the Nordic. I work for FEMA, and have just deployed to Rhode Island. Sadly, the joy I felt was short lived because the Nordic doesn't open until April. I died a bit inside. ? PLEASE OPEN YOUR DOORS FOR THIS LOST SOUL!

I visited this place a few years ago, but people are still raving about it. I will tell you before you go pace yourself. And maybe stay for the night driving back to wherever you live outside the state is difficult. This place beautiful scenery and atmosphere. It's definitely worth the price.

The food was decent.... As long as you know that with buffets, it's quantity and not quality, it's pretty good. Love the fact that they have sooo much seafood and also prime rib and other meat productsfor the meat eaters. I didn't see any King Crab (favorite king of crab) when I was there but good nonetheless.Haagen Dazs ice cream and shakes are always a plus, especially if you have dessert loving kids. Service was pretty good as well.
