Busy sit down breakfast restaurant. Got our table fast and breakfast was nice. Standard American breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash etc.

My wife and I enjoyed breakfast this morning at Athena’s. Servings were generous and the food was very good.
I had Two Eggs with Ham Off The Bone, w Italian Bread and Hash Browns. I was served two large pieces of Ham (I would call it Virginia Ham as opposed to say Country Ham). I took over half of the Ham home. There was an extra charge for the Hash Browns.
My wife had Two Eggs with Bacon. She got Cinnamon Raisin Bread and Home Fries (the default for breakfast meals).
The coffee was good, but a little pricey (based on what it is not compared to what a coffee shop would have charged.)
The waitress was friendly and very efficient.

The only good thing I can say is that their portions are generous. We both felt the food was subpar, even before I found a strand of hair in my omelette.

Service was good, the place was clean, but the food was awful. Just because they give you a lot, doesn't mean it's good. Not one cook was wearing a hairnet. As a result, there was hair in my friends omelet. The bacon was under cooked and fatty, the homefries were burned and flavorless. They were black on the bottom from sitting on the grill for so long. We won't be going back.

Food was good hash was a little dry ice coffee and a coke almost 4 bucks each. Everything else was good and great quick service 1st time there will try again
Huge portions of food. Great prices, although the waitress was sort of rude. Didn't seem like she wanted to be there
