A friend suggested that I try a macha latte here and I'm so glad I did! It was a nicely prepared macha and their service was amazing. I also had a slice of banana bread which was, too, just perfect. Their outdoor seating is very inviting and the indoor is great AC'ed. I'll be back to try their coffee and other daily baked pastries.

Coffee had an extremely very weird taste- I asked for less sweet and it still tasted so sweet and extremely artificial.
No bathroom, it’s for staff only although there is plenty of seating for customers to dine in. Not coming back. Sad I wasted 20$ for 1 coffee and a breakfast sandwich.
The el ranchero was very tasty, the bread was unexpected, but tasty also. The food was hot and fresh. The Flan drink was delicious.

Best coffee I’ve had in a while and the breakfast sandwiches are really delicious! Cute place, good service. Cranston really needed a place like this. It’s not very visible from the street so I unfortunately have been missing out for a couple years driving right past it. Get a sign for up top!

I’ve tried lots of things here, different coffees, baked items, breakfast sandwiches - it’s always so good. My favorite coffee is the Cajeta latte. Their chocolate loaf cake is really really perfect. The bagel sandwich is great. Tres leches cupcakes, horchata lattes…it’s all good. I love this cafe!

This is THE BEST coffee I’ve ever tasted not only in Rhode Island, but I think in my life, and I’m not even being dramatic it just is. My favorite is the Tres Leche latte and I buy it at least 3 to 4 times a week.
Not only do I absolutely love the fact that this is family run because I love to support local small businesses, but this is the first coffee place ever with perfect consistency, meaning that, I feel like every other coffee place I’ve gone to, I feel like some days the coffee is made perfectly, and other days it tastes horrible because it depends who makes it. At Café Ava I have never had this problem. My coffee is LITERALLY PERFECT each time! You can 100% tell that they’re training their employees perfectly because the quality is absolutely out of this world. The staff is extremely friendly, hard-working, and are perfectionists at what they do.
I have gotten most of my coworkers hooked on this coffee as well. Also, every time I get their pastries, they’re extremely fresh un-like other places where things have been sitting out all day. You can tell they make their pastries fresh each morning.
If you’re looking for the best coffee in Rhode Island, this is it!!!!🩷
