We have been going to Cafe Itri for 22 years and was one of our favorite restaurants. We went tonight for the first time under new management. I would never go back again. Service was not good. We needed to ask the waiter for the drinks we had ordered 10 minutes earlier. Itri egg rolls were terrible, chicken Gorgonzola was so salty it was not edible and the veal Parmesan was greasy.

We called before we went and they had a table for two available. This was my first restaurant I went to after having bariatric surgery. I asked if the cook would make a Chicken Parmesan meal with grilled chicken and it was not a problem. The food was great, the waitress was very nice, and I loved the music in they played in the background.

Since Cafe Itri changed ownership, the prices are outrages. I ordered a grey goose martini…$13 (normal) but then add $4 for grey goose brand and $3 for blue cheese olives so the martini cost $20! The cost of a large Cesar salad is $27 then $4 because you’re splitting it. Just a couple of example why I wouldn’t go back. There are plenty of fabulous restaurants in RI who don’t overcharge every chance they get!

I ordered a chicken Pam with pink vodka sauce, and it was the worst chicken pam ever. Food has no favor. Won't recommend this place to anyone. It was a waste of my money and time.

Amazing food and presentation. My wife and I have rarely ever found food to compare to this. Absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend if you have an advanced palate and appreciate food made from extensive experience in flavor pairing.
