We were celebrating my husband's retirement with friends. From the bar service to table service it was truly a wonderful experience. Italian egg rolls never disappoint. Wine selection spot on.

we had the most awful experience! I had made a reservation on Wednesday for a party of 6. The reservation was for 7 pm. Mind you when i made the reservation over the phone it wasn't asked for indoor or outdoor. We arrived there before 7 pm and we waited. The older man who I am assuming was the manager wasn't pleasant at all. He told us to go take a seat at the bar to wait. So we go to the bar to wait and the bartender who was a young lady w black hair asked if we were ordering food or drinks. We told her the manager told us to go have a seat at the bar. This chick was rude was hell and said oh there'a seats behind the bar area and not to occupy her seats at the bar because she wasn't making any money from us! so we moved. then the older lady who was the hostess told us because of the rain they were back up and we would have to wait. she said there would be free appetizers on the house. ok so we go back to the bar trying to get the rude bartenders attention. she didnt even pay no mind. another worker came by and we asked her a question n she went to "find out" and didnt come back for 10 mins n when she did come back she didnt pay no mind either. until i finally waved her down and asked again and she still didnt know the answer! As we were waiting people were coming in and getting seated. no problem. nobody came to take our appetizer order! Now it's 45 mins later and still nobody working there knew when we would be seated or what was going on. This was the worst experience! When we got up and left, the manager man said they had a table for us that was after almost an hour of waiting. Never again. The staff were rude and not attentive! I am all set! Their customer service needs a lot of help. they ruined my night and appetite. We got amazing customer service and care at Marchetti's and they were able to take us in right away!

A little disappointed with the food. Also, we had 630 reservation. Restaurant not full. Ordered veal Marsala, then told me they were out of veal for the day. The said they already took 7 orders and there was. O veal available. Ordered chicken. Food was ok, cooked well. Very expensive as many restaurants today, but expected more for my money. Been there many times in the past and the food was amazing. Not so much this time around.

Wow what the heck happened.... the new ownership has changed everything. Word on the street is bad as well. No bartenders in the late afternoon, service does not exist. Horribke cocktails. Myself as well as the community misses the OG C.I. I'll update review as necessary, but it's pretty bad right now. And everyone in knightsville recognizes the lower quality across the board.

We always enjoy dinner at Cafe Itri. We started with clams casino, which were delicious. I ordered the Chicken Milanese and my husband ordered the steak. Both choices were large portions and very tasty. Enjoyed chocolate chip gelato for dessert along with a chocolate martini. I tried the Cafe Itri Lemonade, which is a great summer (alcoholic) beverage. Our waitress, Juliana, was great.

The restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area that reminded us of Italy. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. I think the sauce would've benefited from more seasoning or perhaps some white wine since it was quite bland. The highlight of the mail was their homemade spumoni. You will never find us promo that's better than this one!

Got takeout for the first time in a minute-- the portions got small, the prices went up, and the pink sauce isn't as flavorful.

Hate to see the rumors confirmed about new owner driving it into the grave!

The fried mozzarella still good tho so I'll give them that

Overall, good food (we didn't like the antipasto; too much lettuce and not enough meat and cheese). The chicken parm and eggplant parm were both good. Excellent service. The pasta is cooked al dente (which is the way it should be). The Affogato was excellent (the espresso was delicious!). This was our first time visiting, so we're planning on going back and trying the steak. About 200 bucks for appetizers, dinner, desser, and a bottle of wine.

It’s disappointing when a nice evening with friends is spoiled by poor service, especially when someone in a managerial position, like Barbara, escalates a situation unnecessarily. The fact that she interrupted my time with friends and made things tense for everyone around us is a red flag for sure. It’s also concerning how she treated the staff and didn’t take responsibility for the mix-up. You’d expect a manager to de-escalate issues, not escalate them, especially in a setting like that. It was a situation where professionalism and empathy were sorely lacking. I hope the restaurant It can make adjustments, especially if Barbara’s approach is affecting the experience of customers and the staff. Her attitude, demeanor and argumentative presence ruined a special evening. Shame on you Barbara and Same on you Caffe Itri for hiring such a horrible person to represent your establishment!
