The absolute worst customer service in Rhode Island! Nobody greets you when you walk in but they stare at you and acknowledge you walked in without saying a weird honestly they provide the most unwelcoming environment for anyone curious! I will not be revisiting nor will the people who witnessed it with me! Speaking on behalf of party of 4!

I go to Chennai Express quite often. Incredible South Indian food, North Indian curries and Indo Chinese delicacies. Definitely worth visiting again!

The best Indian food in Providence, hands down. The Tikki Masala is ridiculously good, and you are given a hefty serving. The white rice side is a little small, however. The Egg fried rice is amazing as well! Love this place!

The person(Goutham) who handles food from kitchen and deliveries has been vaping/smoking inside where he handles food.and when people clearly saw and confronted he denied I haven’t
placed my order and went out of the establishment after seeing how they are as employees and smoke openly not sure what all they are doing with the actual food that I do not see.

Great Indian, great prices, great discounts if you join their rewards program and ONLY place around PVD where you can get "butter" chicken and paneer; and theirs is ADDICTIVELY PERFECT!!!

The food here is authentically amazing! Other larger Indian places in the area, seem to Americanize their food. Not this place! If I order vindaloo, I want to be able to smell the sun it's so hot. This place nails it!

Amazing little place. My boyfriend and I were going to get takeout and decided to stay and dine in. Most people do take out as this place only has 4 tables but if you decide to stay, it's a great experience. Delicious, authentic Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. The waiter was very attentive and helped recommend some great choices. Will definitely be back!

GREAT food! We love it here. We've only ever ordered takeout, so we can't attest to dine in service. The staff is friendly enough. A coworker recommended them to us. We've gone back ever since. A bit on the expensive side, so we treat ourselves every once in a while. A bit of a drive for us too, but worth it. Sometimes we wish the website functioned better, but again the food is good, so we deal.

Parking: Never had a problem parking.

Not great. Samosa’s were ice cold in the middle so clearly frozen. And the pori was just swimming in oil. See the photo.
The dosa was okay. Overall pretty disappointed in the meal which is a bummer.
