First and last time I ever eat Firehouse!! Despite the fact that the sandwich looked delicious it tasted absolutely horrible. The meatballs tasted like frozen cheap meatballs. I got violently sick that night as well meatballs and all. I don't know how Firehouse subs is still in business with such cheap tasting food and expensive prices!! Save your money and go somewhere else to eat this.

For the price of the food and how long you have to wait, it's hard to justify spending my money here.. you spend like $15 for a sub to get something maybe half the size of a subway sub.

They're also ridiculously slow.. if you come here on your lunch break, expect to be late back if you actually want to eat and enjoy your food!

They know they're gonna be busy during lunch, staff for the rush!

They need to fix their food delivery/pick up customer service. Every time I walk in I’m not greeted by any of the workers. They always have their head down working which is understandable but if someone walks in, the professional thing to do is greet whoever walks into your establishment - whether it be a customer or delivery driver. It’s not that hard to multi task. I walk in, stand in front of 3 workers who did not say one word to me as I waited to pickup an order. I didn’t want to intrude on their work as they were busy, and waited patiently hoping one would address me as they looked up. Guess what, they look up and still ignored me after addressing other customers. Then one lady who I believe could be the daytime lead, finally addresses me. She then proceeds to tell me “You need to yell you’re picking up, or you’re gonna be waiting here all night”. I told her “No, your workers are supposed to say something to me”. She had nothing to say. Finally got the order and left. Why would I yell at someone as they are busy working when YOUR JOB is to provide customer service? Either place pickup orders at the counter where the signs are (which they never do for theft prevention) or provide customer service and do your job correctly if you’re going to hold orders behind the counter. I’m sure she wouldn’t expect a customer to yell at the staff but decides to act like drivers need to do this, since they aren’t attentive enough. They’re gonna have to keep remaking orders if they keep up with this low tier customer service.

Yesterday on September 5, 2024 me and my girlfriend went into the Cranston Rhode Island location. I don’t know where Firehouse Subs finds these high school kids, but they don’t know any better and then need to get a better attitude or they should not be working for your company When we walked in the store, no one said welcome to fire house. When we went to order instead of saying, can I help you the cashier just said What do you want? He was a black African-American and his name was raoul . He is the most unprofessional person I’ve came across in all my life. It didn’t seem he liked white people because he gave me and my girlfriend an attitude and I had my firefighter T-shirt on and I was a firefighter for 10 years. They also did not give me my firefighter discount. I deserve a discount. He did not smile and had no expression. He made my girlfriend very uncomfortable, and she don’t usually get uncomfortable with people. There were also two females there. I’m surprised they did not tell this kid to not treat us that way. Apparently they were on his side because they didn’t even Say nothing. When we left the store after we were done eating, they never said thank you for coming and have a good night. I think this kid raoul Should get terminated just because of his attitude. We we will go back to your store for your food, but I already sent an email on the firehouse website to corporate and I also called the corporate office and talk to someone there about the situation. The girls that were there need some talking to. We really didn’t interact with them, But raoul The African-American kid should be fired The most important thing to me was he did not respect me or my girlfriend and I did not get my firefighter discount. He didn’t even ask me if I wanted a discount normally, every time we go in there the cashier is nice and they automatically give me a discount, but this kid did neither.

Then the Jerk Turkey sub came with no peppers or mayo...

Stopped because I’m just in the area. Honestly it’s a delicious sub shop. I’m blown away. I got the fire captains special without the hot sauce, it was really good! Enough chicken and bacon. The nice worker made sure to let me know other hot sauce infused mayo and pepper flakes so I could adjust to regular mayo. Great sub. Filling. Not super massive. But, a healthy very filling portion. It will fill and satisfy. Thank you for a great late lunch.

So I come in around 3:40pm to get 2 sandwiches for me and my husband! The experience was very racist and off putting. I was treated differently than the other customers ALL FOR NO REASON! I’m currently pregnant and I did not appreciate the “Hispanic/white girls’s” attitude! She treated the white customers completely different her and the young man… THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED OR I WILL CALL CORPORATE AND TQKE FURTHER MEASURES. I’m not going to be dealing with racism in a town that I help out at and do a lot for!!! Absolutely not

Food Delicious if it's your first time I would ask for less bread if you are getting a meatball sub. (My meatballs kept falling out of the bread) The whole place is awesome it feels great when you get to give back just by eating somewhere. Great for kids and also again if it's your first time eating here get a size medium a bag of chips and a drink. You will get full quickly ☺️

Parking: If you come when they aren't busy parking is super easy to find. They have handicap parking but the door and layout are not handicap accessible ?

Kid-friendliness: I saw a kid there and they seemed to enjoy the food and being there.

The cashier with the black lipstick was not a very kind or curtious. If I had not enjoyed the sandwich as I had I would not be coming back. She was rude and not helpful at all. The Spanish girl was very helpful and very kind

They are putting some fake reviews over here.Im pretty sure almost all reviews are scam like last 3 reviews from same person at least you can be smart enough to use another name for leaving some fake reviews. I went there for 3rd party delivery app the manager try to treat like she own me you're trying to be really kind but its doesn't make sense for her she think just because you're there for an app she can yell to you she can do whatever she want bc she thinks you're to easy bc you're kind. An unprofessional rude person I have ever seen in my all life. She thinks just bc someone pay from online she can't give them even cupholder bag for their items 3rd party apps has to give them have u ever check what did u signed when u started work with them they are not responsible for the bag or any utensils its your responsible even they dont give anyone bag or cupholder also if you really need that cents you're trying to save by being rude to the driver please just ask driver kindly or i can bring you some money so atleast for few times you will not be rude for drivers just for bag or cupholder. and also it's doesn't matter if I'm there for someone else I'm your customer at that time you should learn how to talk with the people before own a restaurant and choose yourself as a manager
