The drink, however, turned out to be underwhelming. Think Dunkin’ but with a local twist—and no, that’s not the twist I was hoping for. ? It was perfectly…fine. Richness, creaminess, or a little sprinkle of flair? Nope, none of that here. For a spot that’s supposed to be the “it” coffeehouse in Cranston, the flavor felt strangely flat. I kept wondering if I’d somehow missed the special ingredients or, frankly, the hype.
Kaffeology has the cozy decor and vibes you’d expect from a hip coffeehouse, but if you’re expecting the drinks to stand out, you might want to keep your expectations in check. And with Seven Stars Bakery just a stone’s throw away, with its rich drinks and flaky pastries that never disappoint, I’d recommend sticking to the true star in the neighborhood. ⭐?

This place seems like it was designed for Instagram. That's not to say it's bad -- it's not -- but the visuals, which were very attractive, didn't match up to the taste. The pancake was pretty dry and no better than a mix (not as good as some), though the berries on it were delicious (and beautiful). The hot chicken benedict (I forget exactly what it was called) was better, but not enough flavor and left us wanting, especially for the price. Also, the place is very small, which is fine, but not particularly comfortable. Finally, no free refills on regular coffee (which, just to be clear, was not fancy coffee, though it was good)? That said, the people were great, and, like I said, it certainly wasn't bad.

I am leaving my original five star review below because I was at one point a huge supporter of this place. Last night I placed a takeout order for our family. First of all the guy who answered the phone rudely said "What!?" when I asked to place a takeout order and someone pulled the phone away from him to take the call. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, there was only two people there and we had to wait over an hour for our food. That was an hour of standing there like idiots waiting for dinner. At the one hour mark we wanted to just get our money back and leave because it was getting too late to eat dinner.
The final icing on the cake is that we all woke up with food poisoning today. The chicken must have been off because we all have what feels like low level salmonella symptoms. I am absolutely done with this place and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. I used to put in a take out order every time I was in Rhode Island and I am totally done now. --- Old review: The food here is amazing. I’ve ordered takeout here more times than I can count. Everyone is always extremely nice and the coffee selection is fantastic.

I would love to be able to review this place but when I asked for a table for my party was told a few minutes and they took my number down after 15 minutes I asked again and they told me 45 minutes more in the mean time they sat other parties and guests. When I asked again they said they would call but never did. I don’t know if I was denied my table due to racism or what the cause was but I will never return here their service was unacceptable

Came to try on a Monday at 1pm with a plan to sit outside since I seen online they had a patio. Was asked by an employee if I wanted something to go or eat in. When I asked to eat outside the lady seemed aggravated that I wasn’t just taking something to go and was told the three dirty tables outside were “reserved”. However the tables never were filled during the hour I was there which made me feel like it was an excuse because they didn’t want to clean off the tables and found it more convenient to have us sit inside in the AC on one of the last nice days in September. We both ordered drinks as well as the steak and eggs with no sauce. However both came with sauce anyways. We didn’t complain simply tipped and left.
