I’ll be taking a hiatus from Latte Love. While the food is top notch and the atmosphere is terrific, the line out the door is not worth the wait. A quad espresso is now more than $8 and it takes 15 minutes to get a warm cinnamon bun that takes 30 seconds to nuke. For me Latte Love has jumped the shark. Addendum: Manager, Oliver, noticed I was waiting still after 15 minutes, was entirely receptive to my feedback, took full accountability, and said he would void my transaction. All good stuff, but I see other similar reviews and it will still be a while before I try again. $8.50 for a large Americano is a NYC price and it’s still less than $5 in Garden City Starbucks. Service should be stellar and fast at these prices.

I frequent this coffee shop often, however, I will not be going back. I’ve always had a great service experience (everyone has been super friendly to date), however, today the young woman working the front was short and rude when taking our order. She also walked over and turned on loud music behind us as we were finishing our breakfast. We felt like we were being asked to leave. The worker then went over to her coworker and whispered something that made the other coworker turn around and smirk. I took a friend there who was visiting from out of town and she agreed that it was an unpleasant experience. There are too many options in town to have to deal with rude service.

Used to love coming here and would come every weekend. Now it takes 10 minutes to get a black iced coffee when the store is empty because the girls behind the counter are yapping with their friends and prioritizing customers that they know. Super disappointed with the way this place has gone.

I've been coming to Latte Love since day 1, and I love it. All of the products are fresh and delicious. It's so nice to have this little locally owned shop as an alternative to the crappy corporate coffee around the corner. They are also in the lettuces of building a new location directly across the street, and I'm really looking forward to that.
