Horrible service, coffee was warm and my omelett made me sick. Vegetables were slimmy and not fresh. I do not recommend.

There were three servers hanging at the bar area. It took a few minutes for us to be seated and also for our order to be taken. The girl server was loud and obnoxious. There were not many guests in the restaurant. I ordered an egg white omelet. The waiter did not ask if I wanted cheese on it, so I assumed it had a cheese listed on the menu. When our food came out they brought food to the wrong table, then to us. There were not many people there and it was not busy. My omelet was not cooked. There was no cheese on it. The egg whites were not cooked. They were still raw and gooey and slimy. I did not eat it and I sent it back. When the server came to get my plate he even made a face and was shocked by the look of the raw eggs whites.

Had a great experience at Mesa Cafe! The breakfast quesadilla was excellent. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely a nice spot for a relaxed breakfast. I’ll be back!

The home fries were some of the best I've ever had. The breakfast burrito was also excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with my toddler, as well.

AVOID this restaurant like the plague particularly if you have small, shy, children who happen to have significant allergies. They will go 4 on 1 against said child offering candy, free hugs and other bs to try to triangulate you from your child. (think free puppies and dark van vibes, yikes) When that is unsuccessful and you call them out on their, let's be real, predatory behavior, they will try to feign concern and report you. The food was always semi- mediocre at best. The people were always nice up until then and that kind of made up for their mediocrity. Will never enter this establishment again. There are many other restaurants within a mile radius that know how to treat people properly with much better food. This isn't one of them.
Went in with my 3 boys today and it was such a great experience!!! Our food was great, service was excellent.. They were so pleasant and accommodating. The chef (possibly the owner?) was incredible. He was so friendly. He came out and spoke to my children and made some recommendations that were spot on! He also went above and beyond to try to make one of my son's order of pancakes special and my boys loved it! We are residents in the area and will definitely be back!

My parent’s house is a few blocks from here, and every time I visit, this would be my place for lunch. From my two picky children, to my health conscious wife, we all love the food here.
My most recent visit, today, have a great conversation with the owner and he was giving me small sample of the special. Now my decision just became that much harder because my favorite mesa omelette has competition. The food is always plenty and price is so reasonable. And best of all, the friendly service makes you want to come back every time.
I wish I remember to take pictures, but each time the food comes out, all I can think about is how yummy it is.
Kid-friendliness: My sons are 9 and 11 and they have a good kids menu that they really enjoy and I see many other kids come with their family. It’s really is a great local family friendly restaurant

I was visiting Providence my friend took me here and it was delicious. The Mexican and other southwestern/South American dishes were amazing. I lived 30 years in Arizona so had a lot of time to try authentic Mexican food and the food here is perfect.

There was a metal wire in my food looks like from a grill brush… the homefries have a dirty unwashed taste to them and I’m not sure what cheese they put on the refried beans nuts it funky and tastes bad. BEWARE OF THE

Whenever I come to Providence to visit my family this is where I want to come for breakfast! This weekend I got to shake hands with the chef and try some special hot sauce. This is the kind of restaurant that builds community. I love it! A tamale, fried plantains and some good scrambled eggs are the perfect way to start the day.
