Excellent food, great prices, and outstanding service due to the fine efforts of Amanda, April, Helen, Jody, Makayla, & Rosa. The kitchen staff works miracles because everything they make has become my comfort food.Dietary restrictions: They customize orders when possible.

In town from Orlando, Florida, and we wanted to try the local eats. So glad we chose Cranston Diner for breakfast. Our food was delicious, and the serving sizes and service were top notch. We got our order to go, but Io’s clear why the place was packed. Hope to eat here again on our next visit to Providence!

This place is the worst . I don't know how people are rating it a 5. Must be use to awful food . Or manager is paying them to leave fake reviews. They skimp on the eggs the potatoes are burnt no taste . And the waitress had a very bad attitude. Don't waste your money better breakfast places around.

I met a friend at the diner to celebrate her birthday. As I entered she was engaged in an argument with one of the waitresses. The waitress said that she had not seen her when she went into the dining room. This was very unlikely since there were two other tables she was serving and a table very close to hers and it was not a chance that she had not seen her. It would seem that This Woman's lack of attention to her had to do the fact that friend has dark skin. I convinced her to stay set at the same table location that she had been ignored at, with a couple sitting at a table directly across from hers further emphasizing the fact that waitress could not have possibly not seen her. From that point on I can only rate the waitresses overall attitude as abrupt and unfriendly. Of course Our intention is to not ever go there again and I will be sending a letter to the owner regarding this travesty.

Food wise no different than any other restaurant. My bad rating isn't so much the food but a very rude miserable waitress. She worked Feb 27 am dark hair small stature. Won't put your drink in front of you. Just slams it on table . Ignores you when you sit down. This isn't the first time we have had her and she's been rude in past visits . We will not be back . This lady should not be a waitress.

After moving to this area recently, I went looking for a new breakfast restaurant… I was happy with what they offered, the home fries were nice and crispy, the eggs were cooked as ordered, the ham was good though I prefer a honey ham more, and the coffee was decent... I do plan on returning in the future to try their bacon…

Cranston Diner is a great spot for a delicious breakfast. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is always cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Cranston Special, which comes with two eggs, two sausage links, two bacon strips, and two pancakes. It's the perfect way to start your day!

Typical diner. Large menu. Three rooms so lots of seating. Eggs Benedict were just ok. Eggs were slightly undercooked. Muffins were toasted but could be crispier. Potatoes were crispy but still soft inside and no added surprises (no onions or peppers. I like them that way.). Service was quick and prices were average.
