Went in with my partner to quickly get ice cream before I needed to get home. We ordered for him a ice cream and for me a drink and an ice cream. Mine came out about 5 minutes after ordering, but my boyfriends ice cream and my drink took about 30 minutes to come out and that whole time it wasn’t even busy and woman nearest to us was just chatting it up with her friends the whole time we were waiting. Ice cream was good but we ended up being 20 minutes late to curfew and was overall not worth the drive there

A Rhode Island institution for my entire life. We will miss this Garden City location terribly. The best ice cream sundaes anywhere on this planet!
(Please don't make them go, GC!)

This was my first time here and we had lunch. I had a tuna melt. It was pretty good. Lots of tuna on grilled Rye bread. I would have liked the cheddar cheese to have been sharper. I had to try their specialty, the Awful Awful for dessert. I had chocolate, it was really good. It's like a milkshake but made with ice milk and has small pieces of ice in it.

Fast, efficient service. Wide variety of options, toppings and flavors! Fun to take your ice cream out to the Gazebo nearby!

I ordered a burger and it was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. It was good but it wasn't really anything special. Lots of tasty options for ice cream though! Just about any combination to satisfy whatever craving your having.

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with my recent visit. I loved Newport Creamery as a kid, but this time was very different. When I arrived, no tables were being seated even though the line was out the door. Two teens were trying to manage the front but it wasn’t handled well. I put my name in and watched people walk in and get taken before my party. After about 30 minutes we finally got a table.
Our server took the order but never came back. Someone else eventually brought the food and it was cold. We didn’t get waters, utensils, or any real attention. I ended up having to get up myself to ask for the check. I still left a 10 percent tip, but the service didn’t deserve it.
Overall, I paid $60 for two people and felt like I served myself. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

First and definitely not my last… tried two of the seasonal flavors in a fresh made bubble waffle cone.. banana cream pie and brown butter brickle, they were both so delicious! Will have to try food next time as well.

Left for an hour outside after our order. After all that, one dish was cold, proving it was left out. Pleasant waiter, awful service. Very mediocre food.

I ate here on a Sunday with a friend who was visiting from Boston and I was sorry to have gone there for a meal. The portion sizes are astronomically smaller than pre covid and the prices don't reflect legitimately for the amount of food you are getting.
My sandwich came with fries and I'm telling you that I received probably 8 french fries wiith my sandwich, now correct me if I am wrong but you have generously raised your prices and willfully reduced the amount of food on each plate, does this make any sense other than corporate greed? I just read an article about this location and that there lease isn't being renewed and it will close in 18 months, could it be you're not generating revenues since ripping off customers.
You might want to rethink how you're running day to day operations and paying more attention to customer service and customer satisfaction because without us, restaurants like this are sure to collapse.
