My first time here. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We had the mapo tofu, spicy with a little tingle but not overwhelming. The garlic wings were crispy and the accompaniment of veggies was nice. The steam pork buns were amazing and doughy balls of goodness. And the garlic chicken lunch special was sweet and tasty. Specials are 7.99 and come with rice(fried or white) and either an egg roll or soda. We will totally be back

The last 2times I went I was very disappointed. When I first found this restaurant I was so excited, the food was fresh and delicious. Went about 1 week ago ordered pork dumplings and they were so undercooked the meat looked raw! Ordered takeout last night and the fried cumin fillet fish tasted old and I swear it was left over from the previous day and re-cooked. Not at all tender when I bit into it , hard and dried out like it was left over!! Won't go again

BEST SPICY wings in RI! If you like the more moist spicy wings with tons of red peppers and sauce, this is the place..I get these often and it is always VERY good. I also ordered beef with broccoli before and you was very good too. Awesome place

I usually been here once a while.i stop by today they are under new management,the dishes taste so much better than the previous one.now it's splendid northern style flavor of China .if u like northern style give them a Shot .u won't regret.
Great traditional Chinese restaurant. Not American Chinese style they have very traditional Chinese dishes. Very delicious.

While the hot pot was a fun experience and the food very fresh, the service the night we went to Ocean Flame was lacking. I'm not sure if our server was just overwhelmed or new, but we had to flag him down for everything. He didn't offer us drinks when we arrived or even realize we didn't have drinks when our meals arrived and then when we asked for waters he brought our party of four three glasses. We didn't get checked on and had to flag someone down to order our meals. When hot pot got to the table we had no silverware, chopsticks, or even plates/bowls to eat it with. I had to get up and ask an employee for these and he seemed very confused as to why I was asking. All in all, hot pot was an interesting experience but I don't think I'll be coming here for it again.

If you're eating better, more authentic food than Ocean Flame, you're almost certainly in a top restaurant in China. I lived in China for 5 years, I ate in some of the best restaurants in Wuhan. If you like real Chinese food, you're gonna love this place.

Authentic and great. We lived in Beijing for 3 years and have looked for an authentic Chinese restaurant. A Chinese colleague recommend Ocean Flame. It is fantastic. We had hot pot and some Sichuan dishes. The service is also great. We will make the trek from CT again.
