Sognalo Italian Deli & Cafe

Legit stumbled upon this place. Was buying mulch and was starving. Place was next door and now is one of our top 3 meatball and chicken parm subs. They are huge! So plan on splitting or saving half for dinner! Also the staff are beyond nice!

Italian grinders will make you realize how much you can eat. Delish!

I bought following sandwiches both were Italian. One was with prosciutto and roasted peppers balsamic vinegar and basil mozzarella. The other started out has a base Italian sandwich with a few changes ( mozzarella roasted peppers balsamic vinegar. Price seem a little high for the size of it. But they wereExcellent tasting with very fresh ingredients. Also bought a couple of spinach calzones very good too.

We love it here! everything is super fresh, im in there about twice a week (who feels like cooking when their food is amazing) thanks ladies!

This place is great! Wonderful, local, family-owned establishment that cooks/bakes everything in-house. I tried pretty much a smorgasbord of everything to-go: chicken sandwich with pink vodka sauce, 3 types of calzones (spinach, sausage, chicken), pasta salad, macaroni salad, chicken insalada, ceviche, arancini (rice balls), wine biscuts, and a loaf of their bread. Not a single complaint. I loved their hospitality, and loved the food even more. I've been looking for great, small, local, family-owned places very close to me... And I've found a great one! Definitely worth a try!

Casual Deli style place but you can order and they will bring it over to your table. Chicken parm grinder with pink vodka is second to none. Great people, great food.

Very pleasant people. I had the broccoli rabe sandwich which was 98% chopped stems. The bread was delicious. Even though this particular sandwich was poor, I will go back to give them another chance.

The food here is amazing I'm a truck driver that walked up here from a facility up the road not only were the super kind to me and my pup the food was amazing I highly recommend it

Place rocks and the owner is awesome. Food is delicious. Best deli in Cranston/Johnston and probably one of the best in the state.

Everything is great on the menu, family owned. Feels like I'm walking back in time to grandma's house with all the delicious food. On the pricey side but that's what you get when you want good food

Called needing a platter of sandwiches to be delivered. The staff was absolutely wonderful in helping to make the order (number of sandwiches needed, setting up delivery, payment, etc.). Grateful for their speedy and considerate service. Plus the sandwiches were a hit!

Today was my first time there with my girlfriend and her dad and the food was fantastic probably one of the best in Rhode Island. Everything is freshly made each day by hand and their customer service is amazing. Their food is fantastic and their deserted huts melt in your mouth! I will be definitely going back there again very very soon and I would highly recommend it to Anyone
