I was referred to Sophie's Sweets. When I met with the owner, I was very specific as to what I was looking for. I showed her 2 pictures. One of an ombre cake with all swirls & a flower on top. The other cake that had butterflies going up the side of the cake. I told her I wanted an ombre cake with Sage green & no flower but butterflies like the ones on the other cake. I picked up the order & the owner was not there. The girl behind the counter opened the box & I said ok perfect. When I got home & took the cake out of the box, I realized it was nothing like what i ordered. I immediately called the owner. It rang once & didn't connect to voicemail. After trying several times, I texted the number that my receipt was attached to. She asked me what was wrong because she thought everything was fine & she could've most likely fixed it. I told her the cake was nothing like the pictures I showed her. I sent her pictures of the cakes the day I placed the order & then the cake she made. I waited for a response but never received one. I actually had to hire someone to fix the cake the best they could on such short notice. I can't believe this happened. I will post the pictures of not only what I showed her, but what she made me and what I had it fixed to. When you look at the pictures with this review, you will see the ombre cake & the rainbow cake with the butterflies. Then you will see the one the new baker fixed & the one from Sophie's Sweets. The cake she made for me looks NOTHING like the 2 original pictures...never again.

Do not hesitate to contact Sophie’s Sweets if you are looking for a cake! I attended my friend’s baby shower and the vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream was so good I immediately asked for the contact info to order the same for my wedding. Only a month out I was so happy Stephanie could accommodate! Her pricing is great and even offers delivery for a small fee. She also decorated the cake with flowers upon arrival at the venue day of. I cannot recommend more! I just wish I had a reason to order another cake..

Website says opened at 9am. It’s 9:30am and there still closed. I wanted to get my daughter a cupcake for her birthday. She can’t leave the house because she has Covid. I am so disappointed with this place
