The Burrito Bowl Express

Visited the burrito bowl express on Charles Street today and was greeted by Elder. He was super friendly which I love and need at this time! I ordered the fish and chips! It was a short wait and it was cooked to perfection! I loved Elders service and attitude. Thanks Elder you are doing a great job and I recommend everyone to try this location!

Forget chipotle! This is a Latin owned, quick and easy place for lunch. They do not skimp on the protein and everything was well seasoned. Elder was very friendly and patient while I looked through the menu. I was not aware He closed in 10 but he was kind enough to stay open so we can order and enjoy our meal. The passion fruit natural juice made in house was AMAZING. Literally perfect. Not too sweet. Not too tart. I ordered ground beef, steak and chicken. All very good, well seasoned and the chicken was juicy. They had Alex sensation bachata hits playing in the background, which I loved and the entire place was spotless. Will return

This place is great and the owner is very friendly. I get a steak burrito and a chicken burrito, and all the goodies on top. Their cookies are good also.

My buritto bowl was fabulous! The service was incredible, caring and friendly. The house made Jamaica was delicious. I'll definitely be back!

I had a delicious Barbacoa Burrito Bowl today! I couldn't be happier with the taste, quality and freshness of the food! And the prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity of the food! I will definitely be back for more soon!

This place is as authentic as it gets. The guy running the place, Elder, is super friendly and knowledgeable. I had a bunch of questions for him about the various proteins and toppings, and he walked me through all the ingredients. Got a Birria Burrito bowl, a Chicken Burrito bowl, a beef taco and an order of Churros. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! I will DEFINITELY be coming back for more!

Loved this place! He is so nice and gives huge portions on bowls.. you def won’t leave hungry. Lots of toppings.. delicious.

It was okay. Not horrible but not the best tex mex either. Decently fair prices. Chicken was bland and not good. Wouldn't come back cause the inside was also tiny and slightly run down ish? Steak was good quality though.

Food was okay we got four Tacos on a Tuesday. They were cheap and delicious, just a bit greasy, I will try it again.

He put it in them small Chinese food containers and charged me 16$ bucks for it. No one was in the restaurant and I definitely won’t go there again. Just Way over priced. Now don’t get me wrong the guy was really nice so I felt bad so I didn’t refuse the food after he started making it. Didn’t want to waste it. Hole in the wall or an old mom and pops business that don’t get business. I just cut my losses and gave the food away. Looked too old to be fresh.

I came for my lunch break, me and my guys. We all loved the food, the service was awesome. I can’t say enough, good things about this place. Stop giving money to the big chains, support local.

Wonderful food, great hole-in-the-wall, local spot. The hours are limited because its just one guy running the whole operation, but he can COOK! Nothing but good things to say about this place. Check it out.
