This was our first time here, from the outside I thought it would be a small place but it’s actually a pretty well sized restaurant with a good amount of seating. It’s really nice inside too. And from what I saw it looked like they have outside seating. We didn’t have to wait considering it was busy, so that was nice. They have a solid menu which includes breakfast and lunch options. They also have a boosy menu if you want to have adult iced coffees and drinks which is awesome. The staff were great and attentive. The iced coffees were really good, I had the toffee cold brew special. The food was phenomenal. We ordered a few different items to try. I had the griddle burger which was fantastic. The hash was amazing, nothing beats homemade hash. And the chicken bacon ranch was also great. I live 2 miles away and never had been here, so I look forward to coming back…. often.

This place is definitely worth the money but if you're on a tight budget don't come here. We went here bc grampa said it was a cheap and great place to go to. This was not a cheap.

I love the art on the walls, the giant portions the lovely staff.

I hope this rundown on cost helped someone out today.

Kid-friendliness: I never saw a kids menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes this place has an incline and it has tones of space for a wheelchair and any mobility Aid.

I ordered the eggs scrambled, toast and home fries. The home fries were good. Wondering if eggs were a frozen product as they were very rubbery tasting. Only ate 1 bite of those. Daughter said same.

Last time I came here the food wasn’t great but I said it’s ok let’s give it another try called and made reservations to go with a group of 9 in between soccer games. Showed up to our reserved time and they were confused then found the reservations and told us it will be 45 min until table is available. Will never go back here again worst service and mediocre food. I wish I could give 0 star for service no one knows what’s going on.

This is by far one of my favorite breakfast spots in Johnston. I usually get the Pike Platter which is always very good, and it’s a big breakfast. My husband gets his breakfast sandwich and he is always very happy. I love the days when they have the specialty drinks, coffees, and food. The specials are based on the holidays which is always very fun and creative. I always check instagram before I go to the restaurant to see if Sam posts anything new, but I really love the pictures and videos though! The only down fall is the wait can be anywhere from 10-45 minutes depending on how busy it gets. This place has become so popular since it opened! The weekends are super busy too and the parking lot plaza is always full. Remember to put your name on the list for the hostess, especially on this busier days. You won’t regret coming to this place!

My first time here and it was great.

I came from another breakfast place down the road who refuses to seat one person at a booth and wanted me to wait for a seat at the bar to open even though 2 small booths opened up.

I was happy with the hostess at The Griddle asking if I had a seating preference? I pointed at a booth in the corner and asked if I could possibly sit there? She said absolutely!

The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was served quickly and tasted great! Will definitely be back.

Dietary restrictions: I noticed gluten free options on the menu.

Found this when my usual place got too crowded for my comfort.
The food is cooked to perfection every time. (I've visited several times over several weeks)
I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
Female & Male waitstaff, all truly exceptional. They understand, and practice, GREAT customer service.

Parking: Large vehicles should park on the road.
(Not a lot of space for maneuvers)
About 30 (tight) parking spots, beautifully paved & clearly marked spaces.

First time visit and I wasn't disappointed. Neat, clean and organized kind of an airy friendly vib. I ordered Irish Benedict, two eggs over house made hash and homefries. Sounded interesting and I was happy I tried it. Delicious! Reasonably priced delicious offerings is all one can ask and this place checked all the boxes. Try it, you wont be disappointed.

We attempted to dine in, but from the begining the staff was not wanting to help us. They tried to deter us by saying it would be a 30min wait, then called us 5min later to say the table was ready. After 20min of waiting we asked if anyone was going to take our order and the server said he would go check to see who we were assigned to, another 5min passed before the owner was cleaning the table next to us and we asked again if we would be served and she said she would get drinks and go check on who would be serving us. We took the opportunity to tell the owner what happened and explained we no longer wished to give her our business after this horrible experience and her response was sorry hope you come back some other time.. We are all about helping out local businesses, but this place SUCKS!!!We ended up at the English Muffin down the street and the food and service was excellent there!!
