A hidden gem! Twin Oaks offers what many restaurants no longer do. The minute you walk in, you are met by a well-dressed, friendly host. The wait for seating is never too long, as they have plenty of it. The waitstaff is also dressed quite professional, allowing the atmosphere to be as fancy or as laid back as you need it to be. The menu has much to choose from, and anything I've ever ordered from here has been delicious. The portions are quite big, and they even offer half orders of many items. I recently got a steak that was cooked to perfection. The side offerings are always delicious, and they even had beets, which my husband and daughter both happen to love. My sons got half orders. One had the chicken parm, and the other had the spaghetti and meatball. They were both delicious, and they still had leftovers! For all of this, including wonderful service, the prices are still very reasonable. This place, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, brings me back to when restaurants were run by families for families, and dining out was made to feel like a special occasion. Twin Oaks is a dying breed, and I hope they never change!

This is my first visit here used to come here quite often when she lived in the area. I'll be down in that area again next month with my son and his wife in planning on going there.
Had to wait 25 minutes for a waiter after asking 2 people where our waiter was. It was not a busy time either. The food was good.

Decor was pretty outdated but that made it rather charming. The restaurant was packed with happy patrons. It was a 1st time visiting on a 1st date. The date didn't end so well but I left very happy with my meal choice...8oz filet mignon with 2 baked stuffed shrimp, sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli with butter and grated cheese. Yum!!!Parking: Plenty of handicapped spots ?
