I have been to Besos several times in the past. This visit we sat on the deck outside which was like being in a cozy nook even though it was close to the road. The decor and seating were lovely. The server was very friendly and attentive, even checking to make sure we were comfortable since it was breezy out. We had appetizers and drinks. The drinks were not to our personal taste but well made. We were surprised at the presentation of two apps ( patatas bravas and hummus plate) as they were not what we expected and flavor wise again not bad but not to our liking . The watermelon salad was incredible. The last app were the empanadas , which unfortunately I discovered a hair in the crème fraiche which indicates to me a fail on kitchen quality and safety control. Quite a surprisingly disappointing visit.
We love coming here, the food and drinks and service are great but it was so unbearably hot inside. The ac was absolutely not working across the restaurant the only cool place was the restroom. We asked multiple staff and they said the temperature in the restaurant was way too hot too. Hoping this gets fixed for us to come again!
The air conditioning wasn't working when we went. It made for a very uncomfortable experience. Our waiter Noah was nice but not very good at his job. He hovered over us the entire meal. When we asked for ice for our water he gave it to us in a glass right out of the dishwasher so it melted immediately. Food was ok. We had to wait along time for our dinners. So I do not think we will be going back soon. And Noah should stop asking if you are done working on your meal. If the meal is good it isn't work. It is a pleasure.
This was definitely one of the best experiences yet I was so excited to see pizza class offered, especially at one of my favorite restaurants myself and my family have been coming to besos for years from before they opened the pizza bar and with pizza being one of my families favorites it has become the go to. we come as long as the season lets for the pizzas. Hector is by for one of the best pizza chefs Besos has had he definitely has a true culinary talent and a great personality as a chef. coming tonight and thinking everyone was going to make one and the same pizza or to their liking at least 10 pizzas were made you also have the option to participate in personally making a pizza besides getting to try all of the options of the night ending it with a special dessert from their Johnson and Wales pastry Chef you had me at mango. The food was fresh and so was the service as well as the other attendees for tonight‘s Pizza class this is definitely a must do and I hope Besos keeps this going. You truly got full appreciation for the food preparation and getting to experience the true heart of the chef and what they love to do
Great menu, venue and staff . Went there for Father's Day and had a really good dining experience. Pizzas make for an amazing appetizer.
Lovely outdoor setup with ample parking nearby but, basic menu, stay away from the paella. Salmon dinner was well prepared. The evening special was chicken cacciatore and it was good. The lobster roll was unimpressive. Waitress and staff were friendly. Entrees were delivered well before we had time to finish our appetizers and bread arrived at the end of the meal. The watermelon salad was sparse to say the least. This establishment could be so much better with a little more attention to details.
I love Besos- we've been going there for ages. This time we had the mussels (highly recommend), hanger steak, and focaccia out of the pizza oven (needed extra bread for the broth from the mussels). My only complaint was that the hanger steak was on the smaller end for the price. And it was delicious so we definitely wouldn't have minded more of it. The service was terrific and the greetings and attitudes were delightful.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience at Beso's! From the first bite to the last sip, everything was spot-on. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for an incredible meal. The seafood special was perfectly cooked, and the lobster roll was next-level delicious—overflowing with tender lobster and just the right touch of seasoning. Cocktails were creative and well-balanced (definitely try one!), and the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. Can't wait to go back!
We have been to Besos multiple times and have always had a great time. Most recently we attended the pizza making class and I highly recommend it! We had so much fun learning about Neapolitan pizza and getting to make our own.
This unique experience was infused with culture, learnings, and ambiance. From the Richness of flavors, the tastings and the education around the pieces that contribute to pizza making and pastas, the class was worth the value, the weather and the company. Spent the night with family and friends over great food learning about the richness of several cultures

This was our second year having Mothrrs day lunch at Besos. My mother in law could wait to go back for the lobster salad. Upon arrival, the table was not set for our arrival. The server arrived and barely addressed us. We asked for calamari to start and he stated they were out. At 2pm? We all proceeded to give out order and he left. We waited for awhile, but that was understandable due to Mothers day. I had to flag down our waiter for more water for my elderly parents. When the food finally came my husbands salad came out first and then we waited several minutes for the remainder of the meals to come out. We all ordered lobster rolls. Our waiter “ I don't know his name “ came out and proceeded to to hand my father in law his meal and dropped it in front of him...fries everywhere, lobster on the table! We told him it was ok and he ran away.... The lobster rolls were the driest I have ever had. Lobster was actually chewy! Our waiter came back to the area , not to us , and I had to wave him down again to ask for some additional drawn butter to help with the dryness? He returned many minutes later with a bowl of butter, no spoon...how am I to share with all these elderly parents? No communication with us at all. Dropped and ran! This is how the rest of the meal Proceeded! To say that we were all disappointed Is an understatement! Last year the lobster roll was fantastic and my mother in law couldn't wait to go back! We will not return. The food was terrible and the service was worse! And to make the situation worse, the table next to us was served calamari while we waiting for our meals!! I am not sure what happened today, but I have not had such bad service as this in a long time.
food was delicious and service was even better . The outdoor bartender was also our server and she was excellent
Great food and good vibe on the patio. The pizza guy, Alejandro, was especially kind to our toddler. We'll be back soon just to see him again.
Food was average & service was poor from both the hostess and waitress (Jess D). This is Mothers Day and we all want to have a good brunch with out moms, but Besos disappointed. The hostess skipped over us and another family to help a family she knew who had a later reservation. My mom noticed this and said “I guess they only take care of the locals.” Our server wasn't any better. Not once did she offer to refill my coffee or get my mom another drink. She was largely absent and it didn't seem like she was that busy with too many other tables. Food was mid. The fried chicken and French toast used what tasted like store-bought Thai chili sauce on the chicken. The mix of sweet potato and regular potato home fries that my mom got with her lobster benny were tasty. Overall, would not recommend. Will not be back.
Had a great night with my group of friends for the Kentucky Derby hat night activity and the first night of the pizza bar open for the season. Excellent service.
