Literally no server. Place was empty and had to wait and wait for a server. Good is always very good.

Empress Delight dish was ordered ($50). Filet mignon request was medium rare. It was served ICE cold and medium well. Dish was remade. It was then served hot but still overcooked. Manager said “what can we do for you” we requested a round of drinks. The drinks were then charged to us. When we questioned the manager about this .... She stated “ this was a misunderstanding” She Ended up voiding the drinks but insisted she never offered us anything as compensation. Will never dine there again!!! Will stick to dining at Bon. Side note... Waitress was excellent!

Love the vibe here. Great menu selection, including quite a few items that are either unique here or you don't see often elsewhere. Definitely recommend the short rib appetizer. It's rather substantial given it's spot on the menu and what you pay for it. Fall-off-the-bone delicious. Also liked the forbidden temple from the drink menu. Giant Buddha statue is cool.

Waitress seemed annoyed at having to do her job. Left us for long stretches without even a check in. Had to ask for more drinks after two visits to our table while they were empty. Food came (sushi) but we had to wait probably 15 minutes to get checked on, so we could ask for soy sauce to eat it. Waitress responded sarcastically when we asked for it. Seemed annoyed to have a 2 top, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Still left her over 20%, but will probably give it some time before we visit again and hope this one moves on. Loved Kon in the past, this visit was disappointing.

The service is always great at Kon. Lately the hibachi chefs seem to be rushed, and this time I think the food suffered a bit because of it. The chef made it right for us-like I said, the service is always amazing-but we come for the hibachi experience and this time, the experience was not as great as usual.

Waitress we had was very rude. We asked to split the bill up before ordering our food. At the end it came out on one bill so we asked again for separate bills. Waitress was very nasty and scolded us for not asking before we ordered which we did... she said since it wasn't busy she would do it for us. She was overall unhappy. Little does she know we were celebrating my son's tenth birthday right after the loss of our daughter. This woman's emotions definitely portrayed a negative energy on our whole night. So thank you for making my son's already sad, depressing birthday worse. I truly hope this feedback reaches this woman and she decides to make life changes that will benefit her and others around her. I wish I remembered her name. If gratuity wasn't included she wouldn't have gotten a tip I would have given the cook a cash tip. Even with separated checks she included gratuity and didn't tell us. She lacks empathy and compassion for sure. She wears glasses and had a pony tail our reservations was for hibachi at 5:45 pm on 08/20/25 I'm not sure if that helps. Side note the hostess (blonde lady) and chef were very very nice.

Ate here many times. Took my pops and family for his 70th last nite. This was by far a big drop off in service from the last time. Sat at hibachi never recieved soup or salad had to ask after main course was ready. Chef was very blah and waitress was terrible then added a 20% gratuity into bill. Very unsatisfied. Will probably not return!

Have been going to Kon for over 10 years, however the quality has declined. In tow separate occasions I had bad experience with the quality of the sushi which they barely put any fish in it!

This place was a gem! We are so glad we found it and had a wonderful meal and a great time. Such kind people too. Cool atmosphere. Felt like we stepped into a casino! We will be back.

Food was alright. Portions were definitely skimped.
I have been to many hibachi this one just wasn't fun or worth the money. The cook didnt do any tricks besides light an onion on fire. Took family there for the first time and was very let down. Won't be back.

My husband and I have been coming here for over 15 years and has always been one of our favorite restaurants to go to for special occasions (anniversaries, birthdays, etc). We decided to take our kids here for the first time a few weeks ago and I am not sure we will return. They sat us by the bar which was fine, it was dead and that seemed to be the only section they had open. But the bar manager came in and sat at the bar right next to our table (off the clock and made it clear who she was). I'm not even exaggerating when I say this is one of the most unprofessional employees I have ever seen anywhere, never mind an upscale dining establishment. She was talking to the bartender and 2 patrons that were sitting at the bar about her new pet dragon Pickles. She spoke about feeding it all sorts of insects and how it would kill them. She spoke about its feces and having to clean up after it - all while we were eating 10 feet from her. She then started talking about other employees that worked there and how they were being given disciplinary action for numerous reasons. She was complaining about schedules and laziness of other workers. We unfortunately could not say anything to our waitress because she was full in on the conversations as well as wildly inappropriately dressed - belly ring hanging out, short leather skirt, etc. We immediately asked for to go boxes and our check and left as quickly as we could. We did say something to the receptionist as we were leaving but am unsure if it made it back to management or not. We spent just about $200 for the 4 of us (typical for here) and our meal was completely ruined. Baffled that this woman is a manager there. Will be choosing a new place for my birthday this year which saddens me as we have been such loyal customers for so long.

We went after my parents got married this evening and they went above and beyond from service to the food everything was amazing! We had Dan the man & the beautiful Maddie for our servers they were top notch! There were 20 of us! & they Checked on us often made us comfortable and made our parents night special and memorable! We enjoyed hibachi , sushi, and apps and all the food was great! Thanks again guys 🤍 10 out of 10!!
