Another spectacular lunch at La Masseria! Made even more special with this legendary bottle of wine and a special friend. Bucatini Vecchia Roma with Pancetta and Pecorino Romano transpored us to Rome followed by Boconcini di Pollo with mushrooms and Italian sausage took us to Florence. And that wine took us to heaven!
A quiet dining experience in a relaxing, tasteful room was just what we needed. The food was excellent— the zucchini fries were perfectly crisp, the frisée salad perfectly dressed, and our main courses of veal and and ravioli were very flavorful. The food felt authentic, in contrast to some of the new Italian cuisine that is needlessly cooked with extra fats and cheeses, leaving one feeling unpleasantly full. We would definitely recommend La Masseria, and plan to visit again.
Wonderful night celebrating our granddaughter’s college graduation. Our waiter Hector was amazing. The food was delicious. All ten of us had great dinners. Thank you to the staff especially Hector. He made the venting extra special.
