Tio Mateos Mexican Grille & Greenwich Bay Gourmet

Excellent place, but I would like to be seated at a table before ordering. I asked for the menu, and while I was looking at it, more people arrived, so I had to wait to place my order.

there’s not one Mexican person in the kitchen. The rice tasted like $1, 2 minute microwave ready rice the chicken tastes and looks frozen the beans taste canned with nothing added to it. I came cause the good reviews but that was disappointing and not worth my money

10/10. My favorite spot to eat lunch. The best hospitality and Mexican food in the area!

Lots of dough, beans, rice for a high price. Not close to a fair value.
Gave it another try today. There's a new menu. The prices went up and the quality went way down. Unbelievably small portions. Two tiny, tiny tacos for $11.42 plus tip.
This former place was highly regarded, and has now turned into a colossal rip off.

Stopped in for RI Food Fights’ “Taco Mania!” and had a great experience!

The space is clean, bright, and welcoming, with sunlight streaming through the large glass garage doors that open up for a breezy, al fresco feel on warmer days.

You order at the counter, where the staff is super friendly and helpful, and they bring your food right to your table — a nice casual touch.

I tried one of each taco — Adobo-marinated chicken, steak, and pork — topped with shredded lettuce, cilantro, and I chose the Del Diablo salsa. Each taco was moist, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The salsa added a great kick without overpowering the flavors.

A solid spot for fresh, satisfying tacos and relaxed vibes — I’d definitely come back to try more!

My order was missing chicken, they made it right in seconds, visited us multiple times and provided us with a treat for the inconvenience even though it wasn’t one. They are so nice here.

The staff, service, food, pricing, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Just go to chipotle if you’re looking to get what you pay for. Chicken quesadilla had one single nugget of chicken. Should’ve known better after they have done this several times now. Lesson learned. If you order the quesadilla, look before you leave!!
